I miss you

Kay...

I sat on my bed, Eyeing the computer screen. I sat in a pretzel position. The cold kissed my skin giving my goose bumps. As the bright light poked my bloodshot eyes, a figure appeared on the screen. It was my baby boy.

Ray-Kaylynne, babe don't cry

Kay-I'm sorry, I just miss you

Ray-I know, i miss you too, Where are the kids?

Kay-Jacob and the baby are at Princeton's house, And Liyah is here with me..sleep.

Ray-I noticed your baby fat was gone, I'm sorry I'm not there.

Kay-Oh no, its fine. Jacob's been helping me and the kid's, Princeton has too

Ray-He doesn't buy them stuff does he? I mean besides diapers

Kay-He does actually, why?

Ray-I just don't want him buying them things like he's replacing me

Kay-Babe, he will never replace you. Besides, the only thing the kids want is candy.

Ray-Mhmm, whatever

Liyah boo walked in the room dragging her dingy pink teddy bear. Her hair was frizzy, and her fingernails didn't have nail polish no longer. Earlier i had done her nails. I smiled and looked at her as she climbed on the bed. She grabbed the cover, pulling herself onto the bed. She got comfortable and stared at the screen as her face lit up.

Liyah-DADDY!!

Ray-Woah, who is that? Aaliyah Lexis Smith? Naw it cant be, kay, baby who is that beautiful girl??

I chuckled as Ray played with Liyah. She sat with her eyes glued on his. I went to use the restroom and i saw a pair of pan ties by the sink on the ground. I had never seen them before, and they were larger than my size. Maybe its just a stretched pair or something. I picked them up and threw them in the trash can.

Walking back as i enjoyed the laughter they both shared. I sat on the bed, yawning.

Kay- Okay Liyah, Mommy has to talk to Daddy

Liyah-Okay, Can i have some ice cream?

Kay-Yes, I'll fix you some when i get down stairs.

Liyah-Okay

She closed my door and did what she did in her room.

I rubbed my temples, going through a tough headache.

Ray-Babe, you okay?

Kay-Yeah

There was a boss like voice i could hear in the background. It was the General-In-Training. We shared or good byes and i kissed the screen, his must have dirty because he didn't want my kiss. It made me feel hurt a little, but i brushed it off. He didn't say "I love you"   back at me. He waved bye and the single dropped. Closing my computer, i got up stretching.

She was sleep in her room. No ice cream for her then. I carried her in my room so she could sleep with me. Turning off the lights, and plugging the night lights into the wall i laid down.

Almost sleep, i hear a loud knock, as if it was the police.

Roc &Tristan...

We could see the lights light up the once darkened glass in the house. As she walked down the stairs, i couldn't wait for her reaction. Roc knocked on the door again.

Kay...

I'm coming, i yelled. I trailed to the door way. Opening it, i only saw Chresanto.

Kay-Yes?
