Chapter Twenty-Seven

I was running for my life from the Black Dogs. They were hot on my trail and I don’t know how much longer I can keep in front of them. Where the hell is the exit?

I was tackled down to the ground, my body sliding against the stone-flooring opening up my skin.

Each Black Dog held down one of my limbs down on the cold flooring. I struggled against them but I couldn’t even move them.

They picked me up off the ground with their strong arms. Each Black Dog looked very strong; their body structures are what allow them to be so strong.

“We will need to hold him down as he broke the restraints once the Black Dog comes in” one of them said in a very deep voice.

I tried dropping my weight to help my case but it didn’t even faze them. I screamed in my head as my fate was awaiting me in that horrifying room.

“Don’t, please don’t do this” I reasoned, almost going out of my mind. I sounded like I was begging, something I wouldn’t have done before because it was a sign of weakness but they already know all of that.

“Shut up Hybrid” one of them snapped “There is nothing you can do to change anyone’s mind”

I just hope that this one kills me; I don’t know what to do anymore, what I should think. All I know is that this will cause me so much suffering but what can I do about it.

My father and brother don’t even know where I am, none of the pack does. How am I supposed to get out of here like this? Every day will make it harder for me to escape; every day will bring me down to a weaker state then the day before.

I sunk my fangs into one of the Black Dogs that was holding my arm. He still held onto me with strong arms as if his life depended on it. He was going to break my arm

“Don’t” one of them stopped him just in time “You need to leave him for the young one” I don’t know which option I liked better; I wish both were not an option.

“Sure” he nodded agreeing with the other black dog. I cringed because of the ‘young one’ they were talking about; he couldn’t be that bad could he?

They got me back into the room and placed me on the same bench I broke out of, their hands still on my limbs. I started to get scared as the Black Dog appeared. He looked tougher than the last.

I let a tear roll down my cheek as my fait awaited me once more. He had a smile on his face as if it gave him pleasure to torture each of us.

I let out a scream as his claws abruptly entered my skin

My eyes flung open as my body reacted getting up. I was covered every inch in sweat.

“Logan” I heard Koran’s voice and looked his way to see Hayden they’re also

“What?” I asked. I didn’t really want to go into detail with them too much

“What was it?” Koran asked with a wide-eyed stare

“Just a bad dream” I told him expecting him to drop it

“About the Black Dogs?” Koran asked as if he already new the answer

“Did you read my mind?” I asked him accusingly
