Chapter Thirty-Five:
I heard a scream, waking me up instantly. It was Warwick's scream. I rushed over to him; he was shaking his body covered in sweat. His eyes flung open and his claws came out. I pinned his arms to he ground to stop him from hurting him or me.
“Logan?” Warwick's eyes hadn’t adjusted to the light yet, he squinted his eyes until he could see me fully.
“Yeah it’s me” I put the back of my hand onto Warwick's head checking his temperature, he seemed to be very hot but not enough to concern me right away, I’ll have to keep an eye on him for now. “What was your nightmare about?”
“I thought they were going to try and make me shift” Warwick's eyes were filled with tears “I don’t want to go back Logan” he pulled me into a hug
“Don’t worry Warwick, it will all be over soon then you, Kayla and I can be together again. Stay strong for me Warwick, can you do that for me?” I asked him, he nodded his head in response
“Yeah I can” Warwick answered, “I’ll be able to be with my family again” he smiled like it was the happiest thing in the world
“All in time” I pulled him closer to stop the shaking, to let him know that he was in a good place now and not in a bad one.
“Can you stay here?” Warwick asked as he yawned, I looked outside, it looked as if it was around two in the morning, Ronan told me to come at six.
“Yeah no worries buddy” I pulled the animal skins over us, and went into a light sleep.
There was a knock on the door “Logan you have to get going now” I hear Cam say from behind he door
“Give me a minute” I closed my eyes again as my eyes grew very heavy. I started to fell back into sleep when I heard another knock instead it was much louder this time
“If you don’t come out in three seconds I'm breaking down this door” Cam threatened, making me jump up form where I was sleeping and quietly made my way out of the room leaving Warwick and Kayla still asleep.
“You’ve got to learn to relax” I playfully punched Cam “Wait do you even know what that means?” I raised an eyebrow
“Sure I do” Cam said still tensed as hell
“You're not a very good liar” I told him “Are we having breakfast?” I asked him
“If you woke up early you might have” Cam grinned probably because of the fact it involves someone’s misfortune. I laughed at his reaction “What's so funny?” he raised an eyebrow, clearly confused by my laugh
“Nothing at all” I told him “I just though of something funny” I grinned trying to hold my laughter in, now I just don’t know what I'm laughing at
“Anyway” Cam started as he opened the door for me to leave the house, we started going down the stairs “We have a five minute walk to an clearing where we normally train” he informed me as we walked towards the clearing that was in the distance.
“Have you guys done a lot of defensive tactics?” I asked him interested as to how they train whether it’s mainly offensive rather than defensive.
“Most of the time we train offensively because that how our Alpha told us to fight but it couldn’t hurt learning a thing or two from you” Cam stated as we were coming closer to the clearing, there were about one hundred wolves to say the least “And you know what to do if someone is out of line?” Cam asked me quietly
