We were running
It was raining
You were laughing
We were drenched
We had to stop
The rain kept on falling
We looked at each other
And time stopped moving
You leaned down
I stayed still
You whispered - is this ok?
Without a word, I nodded
You closed the distance
I closed my eyes
Your lips touched mine
I stifled a gasp
I felt you start moving
You asked me to dance
Not with our feet
But with our tongues
And all through this
Time was still stopped
The rain kept on falling
We never really minded
