It was late afternoon, almost dusk and Nicky was out lounging on one of the daybeds on their family yacht. She, together with her sisters and a couple of yacht caretakers, took out their boat for a little spin out on the Pacific before having that late dinner they have scheduled with their father.

Sipping daintily on a strawberry daiquiri, Nicky had her Jackie O glasses and Triangl bikini on as she looked towards the horizon at the setting sun, their yacht bumping a little bit as it ran over a small wave in the middle of the Pacific. She loved the tranquility the ocean brings. It was one of the reasons why she wanted to travel and experience the world - to see the different beaches the world has to offer.

As she enjoys the smell of the sea air around them, she then felt the daybed shift and knew that one of her sisters probably sat on it.

"Penny for your thoughts."

Nicky turned and with a smile on her face, looked at Nicolette, or Colette to their close friends and family - her eldest sister. She put down her daiquiri and sat up, stretching her arms up above her head and groaning as she felt her muscles pop.

"Hmm... That felt quite good..." she moaned before turning her attention fully at her sister. "What's up, sissy? Is Coleen giving you a hard time again?"

Colette smiled and shook her head as she reached over and took Nicky's glass of daiquiri, sipping from it to Nicky's playful "Hey!"

"Not really," Colette answered. "Though she did regal me of stories from when you went to the game the other week."

Nicky had to roll her eyes at that statement, knowing that Coleen most likely told an exaggerated version of what went on during the home game of DU last week.

"What did you hear?" Nicky asked as she took back her daiquiri and pouted at her sister playfully when she noticed her glass was half empty.

Colette chuckled. "Nothing much really. Except for Coleen's incessant squeals and gushing about the hot boys she saw. I had to check that my ears still work after listening to all the shrieking that she did."

Nicky laughed at that. There are a ton of reasons why she liked Colette better than Coleen. This was one of them.

Colette just came back from a two-day business trip to China, checking on their manufacturing factories from over there. And this quick yacht ride was a way for the three sisters to catch up.

A fresh graduate and barely out of uni who just earned her MBA - Colette was the family genius who was now the CEO of one of their manufacturing businesses that their dad was the owner of. She excelled in it even though she just started, and Nicky was sure that Colette would make a damn good CEO for all their dad's other businesses once she was ready. It was another reason why Nicky looked up to her and got along better with her than the airy Coleen. Colette was more responsible and level-headed. Not that she didn't love Coleen just as much. It was just--

Nicky shook her head and tried to focus more on what Colette was still saying. Her sister raised a brow at her and she had the decency to blush when she realized that her sister knew she wasn't entirely in the conversation. Colette didn't really point it out, however, and just continued with what she was about to say.

"I did, however, gather from all those screaming that you, somehow - wanted to have the university's star quarterback for yourself. And in her words, I quote, 'she said she'll have him once the semester ends!'"

Nicky chuckled at the way Colette uncannily mimicked how Coleen talked as she took off her sunglasses and placed them on the table beside her daybed. Sighing, she laid back down on the bed and closed her eyes - her thoughts straying to that one particular quarterback that Colette just mentioned, the object of her current obsession.
