In a special Valentine issue of Cosmo Philippines for the year 2017 - two questions stood out from the special interview that the magazine did with the current Phenomenal Loveteam - Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.

"HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT LOVE BEFORE YOU GUYS WERE A TANDEM, A LOVETEAM?"

AR: Love was something that I didn't think I was looking for until I met a certain Maine Mendoza.

MM: Wow, ang shala!

AR: Seryoso nga! (laughs) Before - ang love sakin eh sagabal sa career. I tried it, thinking it was what I needed before and ended up getting hurt in the process. Hindi pala kasi magandang minamadali ang love. Tulad nga ng sabi ni Lola Nidora - may tamang panahon for it.

MM: For me, I felt that love will come to me when I least expect it. At ayun nga - bumulaga na lang sya sakin - literal - in the form of this dork here.

AR: Huy! Anong dork?!

MM: (laughs) You. Ikaw ang dork. But you're MY dork.

AR: Pakiss nga...

MM: Huy! Umayos ka! Nasa interview pa tayo!

"HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT LOVE THESE DAYS?"

AR: It's eternal.

MM: What he said. Also - it's fated.

AR: Fated?

MM: Oo, kasi - everything about us screams fate and destiny eh. Minsan nakakakilabot isipin but I believe that there was a reason why I met you all those years ago, then I saw you again that one fateful day on July almost a couple of years ago. And now here we are... It's fate.

AR: Hmmm... Sa bagay. Parang lahat just fell into place between us, 'no?

MM: Oo, ganon na nga.

Cosmo: So - is it safe to assume based on these answers of yours that you are together? Like boyfriend or girlfriend?

AR: Oh, she's not my girlfriend.

MM: Neither is he my boyfriend. (smiles)

Cosmo: Oh? But the way you --

AR: She's my wife.

MM: And he's my husband.
