It was drizzling a little and she was looking outside, thinking pensively, a little smile on her lips. She was leaning on the window sill of his hotel room, feeling the soft cool breeze - the smell of rain still prevalent in the air. They just finished a couple of outdoor scenes but they had to pack up and head inside once it started to really pour.
She didn't mind the rain though, in all honesty. Those that really knew her knew how much she adores the rain. Although Miss Jenny and Direk Mike had to call it off for fear of anyone getting sick, since she herself had just gotten over a slight cold and fever.
Still looking outward, she then felt a couple of strong arms wrap around her slender waist, a chin leaning on her right shoulder. She smiled wider, leaning back towards a broad chest, her hands holding onto the arms around her.
"Hi, Love," he whispered, pressing a small kiss on her right cheek.
"Hi, yourself," she replied, turning her head slightly and kissing him properly but softly on his lips.
"Hmmm... What are you thinking?" he asked, as he started to sway them from side to side, slow dancing to the music that the pitter-patter of the rain made.
"Wala naman. Ang sarap lang ng ulan at ng simoy ng hangin. Sayang pinapasok na agad nila tayo."
"A pluviophile through and through," he chuckled, planting another kiss on her head.
"Like you aren't," she teased, turning in his arms and placing her hands on his nape. They continued to sway side to side, looking at each other's eyes, smiling that same soft smile they reserve for each other. She then leaned her head on his chest, his arms going around her tighter until they could both feel each other's heartbeat.
"Labas ulit tayo? Hindi na masyadong umuulan," he told her, once he noticed that even the drizzling had completely stopped.
"Ok," she softly answered, eyes closed and was actually content with just staying that way in his arms. She heard the slight rumble in his chest as he chuckled once more.
"Parang ayaw mo naman 'ata," he replied with a bedimpled smile, noticing the way she snuggled further in his embrace.
She sighed and slowly untangled herself from his arms. "Sige na nga, tara na. Gusto rin daw ni Nanay lumabas eh. Wala na tayong ishoo-shoot for today, right?"
He shook his head in reply. "Wala na. Bukas na daw ulit ng umaga. Hopefully mag-cooperate naman na sa atin ang weather."
"Speaking of tomorrow, alam mo ba kung anong araw na bukas?" she asked him as she was wearing her black boots by the bed.
He smiled and went to her, kneeling down and helping her pull her boots up her legs. "Oo naman, 10th monthsary na natin as AlDub."
"I have an idea as a gift para sa ADN," she continued, standing up and heading for the door.
"Yeah?"
She nodded and turned towards him. "Of course, meron din akong gift sayo pero mamaya na yun," she winked and walked out of his room.
He simply chuckled and followed her out towards her room, which was next to his, where they picked up her mother.
Later that night, at around midnight, as he was already lounging in bed - he heard a ping on his phone, signifying a notification for her Twitter posts. He chuckled upon seeing what she posted. And then the numerous notifications started to pour in. He was smiling the entire time as he browsed through all the posts of the ADN for their 10th monthsary.
He then heard the unmistakable sound of his door opening and immediately knew that it was her, as she was the only one who had the spare key to his hotel room. He smiled when he saw her, wearing her Daisy Duck PJs this time and his V-neck tee that was starting to become her favorite.
"So kaya ka pala nagpabuhat kanina at talagang si Nanay pa ang pinakuha mo ng picture natin. Eto pala yung sinasabi mong gift," he told her as she plopped beside him on his bed.
"Yep! And see? They all loved it," she smiled at him, looking at his phone as well.
"Through ups and downs... Talaga lang ha?" he asked her, teasingly.
"Oo, diba. Ikaw at ako. Tayong dalawa. Walang iwanan. Ganoin!"
"Parang marriage vows lang."
She nodded absentmindedly and he chuckled once more. "So ready ka ng magpakasal sakin?" he asked, playing with her hair as she looked up at him.
"Huy! Ayan ka na naman. Ayoko nga!" she pouted, sitting up.
"Grabe sya. Ayaw agad," this time, it was him who pouted.
"Eh kasi - that's not the right way to propose kaya. Tsaka hello?? Asan ang singsing?"
He stopped and stared at her, his demeanor suddenly becoming serious. "Wag ako, Love. Kung singsing lang ang gusto mo..."
"Eeeeehhhh... Inaano ka ba??"
He sighed and slightly shook his head, smiling once again when she started her pabebe look at him. "Alam ba ni Nanay na nandito ka?"
She nodded, straddling him swiftly, catching him unawares. Her knees going on either side of his waist, her hands around his neck. "Wag lang daw akong magtagal at baka kung anong sabihin ng iba pag may makakitang lumalabas ako ng kwarto mo ng dis oras ng gabi."
"So we have like - what? An hour?" he asked, his hands automatically caressing her still covered thighs, slowly going up her waist then her back.
"Pretty much," she whispered and slowly started to lean towards him. "Eto naman yung gift ko para sayo."
