"I have a dare for you."

"Susmaryosep! Menggay! Wag ka namang nangugulat ng ganyan!" he exclaimed as he held onto his chest when he felt her whisper breathily in his ear as she sneaked up on him.

She laughed her usual asthmatic laugh as he frowned at her, his lips forming into his infamous five-year old pout.

"Hala, nagpout na. Sorry na, love. I didn't know magugulat ka ng ganon katindi," she replied, still snickering.

They were currently in a holding room as they were waiting for their go-signal to face the press. It was a press conference for the new teleserye they were starring in.

"Eh, ano ba yang dare mo?"

"I dare you to say 'yes' to all the press' questions mamaya pag labas natin," she declared, arms crossing on her chest, a smug grin on her lips.

"Sigurado ka ba dyan sa sinasabi mo?" he asked incredulously to which she nodded. He sighed as he reached for her and hugged her middle. He could never say no to her. Ever. "Fine. I'll do it. But on one condition."

"Ano yun?" she asked just as she started to run her fingers through his hair.

"You also say 'yes' to everything they ask you. And -" his voice went an octave lower as he looked up at her from under his lashes. "- you will say 'yes' to me, tonight. Repeatedly."

"Harot mo talaga, Ricardo!" she laughed. "Pero, oo na. Sige na. I accept your dare as well."

He laughed as well, reaching up to give her a sweet kiss before they went out to greet their fans and the press.

"So Alden at Maine - nakapagpahinga naman ba kayo ng maayos after your taping? Diretso daw kayo dito sa presscon after your shoot kanina."

"Yes po," RJ answered for both of them, sneaking a glance at Maine, who was trying so hard to fight the grin off her face. "We're well rested naman po ngayon."

"Maine - ikaw naman. Kamusta naman ang first foray mo sa mundo ng teleserye?"

"Ay, ok naman po," she answered confidently. "Direk Mark and everyone was very helpful. And syempre - si Alden laging nandyan po for me na nakaalalay."

"Nahirapan ka ba?"

She swallowed discreetly and turned to look sideways at RJ, who at the moment was trying hard not to laugh, knowing that she couldn't say 'no' due to their ongoing dare.

"Uhm, ano... Y-yes po..."

Direk Mark and the rest of the people in the room where taken aback by her answer, especially Direk Mark, who knew firsthand how easy it was for Maine to act out her character on her first teleserye.

"Uh, nahirapan lang po kasi sya nung simula kasi nga first time tapos iba yung scheduling pag teleserye taping na," RJ answered on behalf of her, as she squeezed his hand in thanks under the table. "Towards the end naman po eh - she was doing well already."

This went on for quite some time. Where all the questions that required a yes or no answer, were answered yes by both of them. Some questions gathered a laugh, some gathered raised brows, while others an unbelieving gasp.

Direk Mark finally had enough and was getting curious as well so he leaned towards RJ who was sitting beside him and whispered, "Ano ba 'tong ginagawa nyo? Puro kayo 'yes.' Kahit dun sa mga tanong na 'no' dapat ang sagot. Anong meron?"

"Ano - Direk, kasi..." RJ sheepishly replied. "Nagka-dare-han kami kanina ni Menggay eh."

Direk Mark jerked away with disbelieving eyes and simply shook his head, a small smile on his lips as if telling them "bahala na nga kayo." He was already used to them doing this as it was a regular thing that they do as a couple when they were on set.

"Uh, sige last question na for both of you Maine and Alden, ano. So nakita naman na ng buong Pilipinas pati ng mundo ang pagsagot ni Yaya Dub kay Alden sa ending ng Kalyeserye 5 months ago. Since then - hindi naman talaga na-confirm kung totoo ba yun or scripted. So ang question ko lang eh - anong real score between you two? Kayo na ba talaga?"

At this, both Maine and RJ looked at each other while Direk Mark beside them, smirked, arms crossing across his chest as he leaned back on his chair, waiting for the inevitable.

RJ then took Maine's hand and kissed the back of it, all the while staring at her, his gaze loving and sweet. She smiled back at him as she squeezed his hand. Then she leaned towards him and gave him a quick peck on his lips, to the gasps of everyone in the room.

Together - they faced the press people and answered them with a resounding, "YES."
