If you're stressed, you get pimples. If you cry, you get wrinkles. So just smile and get dimples.

Puyat here, puyat there, puyat everywhere kasi ang peg ni ateng niyo lately. Tss.

It's still you."  Sagot naman ng kaibigan ko.

Yan ang tunay na kaibigan! Nagbobolahan! Hahahaha.

Let me give you a short background about pimples first.

Acne vulgaris or commonly called as pimple is a common skin disorder. :)

It is a chronic disease of sebaceous follicle, primarily affecting face, chest, and back. Its onset typically occurs at puberty because of increased sebum production triggered by increased androgen levels, but may persist throughout adulthood

CAUSES

Common causes

-Increased androgen production

-Overactivity/hyperresponsiveness of sebaceous glands in response to androgens

-Colonization of Propionibacterium acnes, which metabolizes sebum to free fatty acid, leading to inflammatory lesions

Contributory or predisposing factors (pwedeng maging dahilan)

-Adolescence (pagdadalaga/pagbibinata)

-Hair greases or oil-based cosmetics

-Sports equipment such as helmet straps rubbing and occluding skin

-Medications with iodine (found in some cough medicines)

-Some prescription drugs: lithium, isoniazid, phenytoin, corticosteroids, anabolic steroids, and oral contraceptives with high androgenic activity

-Chemotherapeutic agents that act on epidermal growth factor receptors

-Excessive milk intake, especially skim milk, in teenagers
