 C A L I X A

My wolf howled as we watched our mate fight with that former Dawn Lupis scum. She was delighted that she could see his wolf. I had to admit he was a pretty handsome wolf but who am I kidding, that was the bond talking. Teva yipped with joy as he dug his claws into the Raivo's back and his feral growl made me shiver. Was that out of delight? I wasn't sure but this bond was getting on my nerves while my wolf was delighted.

'Like watching your mate fight Alpha?' teased Cyrus through the mind link.

I let out a huff of annoyance as I looked over to glare at him, before returning my attention to the fight. It was to the death and I couldn't afford to miss a moment of it. My Beta disagreed with me about which rogue to pin against Tyto but that was because he didn't know what Tyto was or who he was at Silver Blood. I didn't even really know the full story but I did know that Orion Axenon was a dirty cheat.

Returning my attention to the fight, I watched as Raivo pinned Tyto down on his back and was about to chomp down on his neck to give the killing blow but Tyto fought back and slashed the former Alpha's stomach with his back legs and flung him off. He then quickly got to his paws and curled his lips back to reveal his elongated canines.

The two males circled each other and Tyto made the first move this time, throwing his large brown wolf at Raivo's black and brown one. Teva howled at me to cheer but I refused, blocking her from my mind so I could watch in peace. Although having her in my head was nice company at times, it was overwhelming too since she felt so many emotions that I disregarded and called weak.

Soon Tyto pinned down the rogue and crunched down on his neck. It snapped easily in his jaws and I faintly heard my wolf yip and bark, feeling her lust and need to be with her mate. I internally growled at her and she whimpered before retreating to the back of my head.

"Congratulations Tyto, you shall now be branded with the mark of Wild Moon for proving your worth to our pack and slaying the rogue, Raivo." I announced as Tyto shifted back into his human form and slipped into some shorts that my Gamma handed him.

His chest puffed up with pride as he walked towards me and I nodded at my Beta to grab the brand. It glowed a fiery red from the heat of the flames it rested in and I turned my attention back to Tyto.

"Do you, Tyto Shaphal, revoke your old pack name and welcome Wild Moon with open arms?" I asked, taking the brand in my own hands.

He nodded, "I do."

I showed no emotion as I spoke next, "Then by the power of the Moon Goddess you shall be stripped of your Silver Blood mark and branded with the mark of your new pack, Wild Moon."

I saw him slightly wince as his old mark burned off and he was branded with the mark of Wild Moon. Once the process was finished I dismissed the pack except for my strongest warrior, hunter and tracker.

"Now Tyto," my Beta said, taking over for me, "You may choose someone to challenge for a position as a warrior, hunter, or tracker. Tomorrow you will take the challenge and if you fail the one you choose, you will be an Omega."

Tyto nodded, "Of course, I challenge for a warrior position."

"That is acceptable, now go eat something and rest for tomorrow." Beta Walker ordered, dismissing the rest of the wolves.

I watched at they left and turned to Cyrus, "Take the rest of the day to spend with Illexi. I know she's been waiting for you to have some free time and I won't take you away from her any longer."

He smiled at me and bowed his head, "Yes, thank you Calixa. I'll be sure to make the most of my day then."

I dismissed him after that and headed back to my office to spend the rest of my day planning my attack on Dawn Lupis when the time was right. When I went to my office after dropping Tyto off to my brother, Alder called and gave me the report of Dawn Lupis' betrayal. He said that his spies found plans to invade my pack and the sacrifice was supposedly their inside dog but too bad he died in initiation.
