I felt my heart pound loudly in my chest as I continued to remain in my mate's embrace. It was such a foreign feeling and I was so confused and broken to know how to react. When he used his Alpha tone on me, something inside just snapped and I felt just so alone and unfix able. My wolf took over and said those things to him, for that I am angry with her.

'It was for the best.' she concluded, after giving me control back.

I didn't reply and shoved her to the back of my mind. Then I slowly unwrapped myself from Tyto and stepped back, looking up into his chocolate colored eyes. His gaze pierced through me and made me want to crumble before him. I guess that's how he got my wolf to emerge without even noticing it and his new found confidence made my wolf purr happily at this sudden change in our mate.

"Well, I have some pack business to attend to," I announce, slowly motioning for him to leave.

He was hesitant but slowly followed my wish and left me alone to my thoughts. I was relieved as he left and sighed, running my hands through my tangled brown hair.

"What am I going to do?" I muttered aloud, "He shouldn't have someone like me as a mate. Someone who doesn't deserve her title."

My wolf suddenly resurfaced and growled, 'We deserve our title! How dare you insult Ryder like that!'

I scoffed, "Well we sure do a good job of showing how 'great' of an Alpha we are."

'Just because the story of how we became Alpha was a lie, doesn't mean Ryder isn't proud of you. I know he loves us and he and his wolf will be ready to take the pack back once we are Luna of Silver Blood.' she insisted, pushing her way further into my mind and I felt a headache coming from the amount of force she was using.

"I suppose you are right... But let me get one thing straight Teva, I will not accept this bond with Tyto! I do not deserve to have a mate, the moon goddess made a mistake." I growled, shoving her back further into my mind.

'The moon goddess doesn't make mistakes.' she hissed before retreated to the back of my thoughts until I couldn't feel her full presence.

I dismissed whatever she said and stormed out of my study. I knew since Tyto Aitan was back that things were about to change and I might as well tell the pack what they have missed and that he is my mate. I'm sure they'll be very happy to have Ryder back as their Alpha once and for all.

'Pack meeting in the training area. Everyone go there immediately.' I commanded through the pack link, making my way there myself.

As I arrived, there was already a small crowd forming and I walked out in front of them. After about ten more minutes, the whole pack was there, including Tyto who was raising his eyebrow at me. I narrowed my eyes and turned my gaze away from him.

"Now, I suppose you all are wondering why I have called you here," I began, "but don't worry, it is not bad news."

I heard people let out a breath of relief and my lips quirked into a small smile before I quickly corrected it into a straight one.

"As you all know, Tyto was the Alpha of Silver Blood at a time and recently he has regained his memories." I announced, watching my pack carefully but they made no movements so I continued, "And as he is apart of our pack, I am willing to give him a choice to go back. If he does happen to go, I will be leaving too. The reason is I am his mate."

Gasped were heard and people started to whisper to each other but my brother let a growl out and that shut them up. He made his way towards me and stood next to me as he addressed the pack.
