Red. That's all I saw as I tore through the forest on a hunt for my mate who ran away with my little sister. My wolf growled and paced within me, demanding to be let out. Normally I would let him but then we wouldn't track anything, just tear around the forest in a bitter rage while our mate was out there doing who knows what.
'Calm yourself or we won't find her Ignis,' I snapped at him angrily.
He let out one last snarl before whimpering and retreating to the back of my mind. I empathized with him and vowed to get back our mate if it was the last thing I did. She would not get away no matter what.
As I tracked, I noticed that my sister's scent was the only one I could pick up and I figured that she must've wanted me to follow but not come with them. This was there job and they would probably finish whatever it was before I got there. But that wouldn't stop me from trying to help and get my mate into my arms where she would be safe from the evil world that she had been exposed to for so long.
I could sense I was getting closer but it just wasn't enough for me. Especially since I was entering No-Man's Land. What business could my mate possibly have in rogue territory? Especially since there have been no rogue problems for years in any of the packs.
After storming through the forest awhile longer, I came upon a tree bleeding silver sap. I scented the air once more and notices the scents of my sister and finally picked up on my mate. She was good at hiding, that was for sure. And that's saying something because mate's should be able to track each other no matter what.
"Where are you Calixa?...." I muttered, looking around carefully at the scene before me.
It looked like there was a fight, since crimson droplets of blood smeared the ground with their red paint. I crouched down and sniffed the trail of blood and growled. It wasn't my mate's but it made me angry none the less. It was my mate's little sister's! How could they bring her into their feud! Such an innocent and young soul. She had nothing to do with whatever was going on and yet they were so heartless to kill her.
That was the last straw.
Time to release my wolf, I don't care what he does at this point, as long as I get my mate back into my arms.

I was angry. Angry that someone had killed my mate's little sister. Angry that my mate had no trust in me. Angry that my sister had went behind my back with my mate.
Once Tyto relinquished control to me, there was no going back. I wanted blood, and I was going to get it one way or another.
I quickly shifted from the fleshy thing that most call the human body, into my comfortable fur coat and started to tear the forest down while sniffing for my mate's scent. It was fairly easy, after all, not many things can claim to smell of fresh rain and rosemary constantly.
It took mere moments before I found myself charging through the dark and gloomy woods that belong to Raven Shadow. I let out a snort at the pungent smell that the wolves of this pack commonly released when marking their ground and continued on despite wanting to gag.
My long legs covered a long distance in a short amount of time and it took only a few minutes before I arrived at the pack house. I might've been weakened from my time as an Omega but me being first born gave me strength needed to make up for lost time. I stood proudly before the pack house and huffed as I scratched deep grooved into the earth with my claws. Claws that would soon draw the blood of those who would dare mess with my mate.
