I left Tyto's room in the hospital wing and blushed as I thought back to the hug we shared. It wasn't much but it was one of the most intimate interactions I have had with him that wasn't my wolf doing the talking.

"Hey, you know you liked it before," Teva remarked, wagging her tail slightly in the back of my head.

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah but that was the mate bond doing it's work Teva. I... I think I might be ready to start actually having a genuine relationship with him now. But I have to ask you if you can do something for me."

She stopped wagging her tail for a moment and perked her ears, "It depends what you want me to do Calixa. Whatever it is, I will try my best for you."

I smiled at my wolf's reply and if we weren't the same being, I would give her a hug.

"I want you to let my relationship with Tyto to progress at MY pace," I told her, "I know you've waited for Ignis for a long time but I'm not ready to just 'jump his bones' or whatever you call it." 

There was silence in my head for a moment before I heard Teva's reply, "Of course, I understand your need to wait. I will give you as much time as you could ever need. I just ask that you let me talk with Ignis every once in awhile before you decide to mark each other."

"That seems like a fair request," I agreed, "Alright, so as long as you don't push me, I will allow you to talk with Ignis if you don't do anything stupid."

She yipped happily and pranced around, "I won't let you down Calixa! The Moon Goddess couldn't have given me a better human."

I chuckled at her behavior and decided to find my brother seeing as I had already been walking in the direction of the main meeting hall. It didn't take me long to reach the hall and I immediately scented my brother and another unknown wolf with him.

"Hello Calixa," Ryder greeted as I entered the room, "How is Tyto?"

"He's good," I replied before glancing at the man standing beside him.

I didn't recognize him at first but I put two and two together when I clearly looked at him and sniffed the air. He was the leader of the rogues, Marek Nabarro.

He spared me a glance before returning his attention to my brother, "Well Ryder, as long as you take care of my daughter, I will abide by Tyto's rules when he comes into power. If anything happens to Urza, however, I shall skin you alive and rip out your heart."

His words sent chills down my spine with his nonchalant manner and the cold look in his eyes but Ryder seemed unfazed by his mate's father.

"I will die before she ever comes to harm." Ryder vowed, "Urza is my other half and I will always protect her."

Marek seemed pleased with my brother's answer and nodded before turning his attention to me, "I wish you and your mate a successful rule, Queen of Wolves."

My eyes widened slightly in surprise but I quickly showed my gratitude, "Thank you Marek, it means a lot from a wolf such as yourself."

He nodded and for a moment I thought I saw a brief smile on his face before he returned to his stone cold demeanor.

"I must be leaving," Marek suddenly said, not bothering to acknowledge my thanks before he walked out the door to assumably leave the council building.

After he left, silence hung in the air for a few moments but Ryder didn't allow it to last long before he said, "Once Tyto recovers we will have a coronation for you two here at the council building. I think we will turn this into the Hall of Alpha's where we will meet every new moon to discuss pack matters."

"That sounds good," I agreed, taking a seat in one of the many chairs, "Do you have any plans now that the mess with Alistair is over?"

"Yeah, I want to make Urza the official Luna of Wild Moon once I return and I hope she doesn't object," he replied and I could see his face light up as he spoke of his mate.

I nodded, "That sounds perfect. What about Alistair and whoever brought him back?"

Ryder waited a moment before he responded to me, "Alistair will remain here for the time being so Tyto can question and kill him for some closure, but as for the witch, we still need to find her."

I sighed and crossed my legs as I pondered what to do about the witch on the loose, "I guess I will go and research bloodlines in the library here. They have a much more expansive collection of books that could help us find who the witch is."

"I agree. It's my belief that she is part wolf because the witches have an alliance with the wolves and like to keep to themselves. The only problem is we have to find out who mixed the bloodlines of witches and wolves and who is powerful enough to bring a wolf back from the dead," Ryder explained, taking a step towards the door, "Anyways, while you go and research the bloodlines, I am going to check up on the condition of the Silver Blood and Wild Moon wolves in the infirmary."

"Looks like our story isn't quite over," I responded, "I will go get to work."

We parted ways and I headed to the library, otherwise known as the archives as they were in the same spot. I walked down the massive halls of the building and knew I was getting close to library as the started to taper off and become smaller. Once I arrived at the room, I flicked on the light and glanced around.

There were shelves upon shelves of books that seemed to expand for miles in either direction. 

The power of magic.

 Seeing as wolves were in alliance with the witches, it seems that they used the witches to expand the library to incorporate all the books on werewolves and the supernatural. I glanced around and saw what looked like a partial map on the wall. When I looked closed I saw that the right side of the library was the archives and pack history, while the left was simply a collection of fiction and nonfiction all about the supernatural.

I headed to the right, towards the archive and one thought crossed my mind.

'This is going to be a long day.'

A/N: Are you surprised I updated!? Well I only have a few chapters left so I am determined to finish this book. I hope you all are ready! Once this book it done, however, I plan to take it down and edit it because I am unhappy with the early chapters and all the plot holes in the story. I know you guys will understand! And thanks so much for supporting me in this long journey to finish this book. I honestly probably wouldn't have even gotten this far without you guys supporting me! So thanks again :D
