I grimaced as Ulfric addressed me with such endearment and I looked at him with a bored expression before turning my eyes towards my mate. He looked very agitated and his jaw was tight as he glared at Ulfric.

"Tyto, calm down." I demanded softly, taking a step towards him.

He didn't seem to be calming down anytime soon so I knew I would have to.... touch him. The thought made my wolf howl and wag her tail but it made me shiver. I wasn't sure if it was out of disgust or pleasure but I shook it off quickly, focusing on my distressed mate.

"Tyto" I repeated, touching his shoulder softly, feeling sparks shoot through my hand.

I gasped slightly and my male turned towards me, his eyes slowly turning back to their soft brown color. His hardened gaze turned warm at the sight of me and I felt like looking down as I felt my cheeks heat up and just took a step back but Tyto had other ideas.

He quickly wrapped me in his arms and rested his head in the crook of my neck, inhaling my scent deeply. I heard a chuckle come from Alder as he watched us and turned to grab his own mate as well.

Before I could shove my mate away I heard the Nightfall Grimm Alpha speak, "If she is still part of your pack then we'll have to change that now won't we? Nexus come here so I can mark you as mine."

I turned to look at her and saw her hesitate before approaching her mate, quickly hugging him and burying her head into his muscular chest. My wolf paced at the sight and felt envious that they could do what I wouldn't let her, but she still enjoyed the contact I was currently having with our mate.

Tyto pivoted me so the both of us would not view this intimate moment and I hear a moan of pleasure escape Nexus' mouth. A growl escaped Ulfric's as he felt the pack bond he shared with her break and I saw his quick movements as he lunged for Alder. I curled my lips into an evil smile as I watched Alder easily evade the attack. The two Alpha's continued their feud without our interruptions. I could tell Tyto wanted to interfere but I held him back with my grip, wanting the two Alpha males to settle what they had started.

Alder quickly pinned down Ulfric and snarled, silently demanding submission for his victory. Ulfric glared but revealed his neck none the less and conceded defeat. I heard a breath of relief escape my mate and I rolled my eyes. I wasn't worried for the safety of the two males because Alder is very analytical when he fights and often comes out on top and inscathed.

"Ulfric, return to your room I don't want to see you near my mate." Alder boomed, clutching Nexus to his chest as she spoke. I swear I could hear a purr come from her in awe of her mate's power and authority.

Ulfric grumbled something inaudible under his breath and left us, quickly retreating to his room. I internally laughed at his behavior before realizing Tyto now had me trapped in his arms. I tried to pull away but he growled and gripped me tighter, "You're mine."

I rolled my eyes, "Of course, now let me go."

"Mine." he repeated.

I was fed up with his wolfish behavior even though my body felt safe in his arms and I struggled to pull myself away from his strong grasp on my waist. Soon I escaped and I saw his eyes were darkened in lust. I knew his wolf was surfacing so I didn't make any movements that would initiate a chase. Alpha males were incredible possessive and used their instincts so if something ran from them, they were predestined to chase.

"Tyto you better calm down. It's not in my morals to reject you but I will if you keep acting like a child." I snapped, no true meaning behind my words. I knew I couldn't reject him even if I wanted to because of my blood. If what Ulfric said was true, then my royal blood would prevent any rejection so I could provide an heir for Tyto. Also, it went against my morals to reject him because my mother always told me to cherish my mate and she was the reason I am still living so I have to honor her by staying with Tyto. Even though it's inevitable that we end up together, I'll fight the bond for as long as possible.

I heard a growl that interrupted my thoughts, "You will do no such thing."

"Then give Tyto control Ignis." I demanded, narrowing my eyes at him.

My mate clearly looked like he was having an internal struggle with his wolf. Soon his eyes slowly transitioned back to normal and he narrowed his eyes at me, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to refrain from making you mine? All you do is entice my wolf and I am having a hard time restraining his urges and soon I won't stop him. You might think I'm acting childish but no one can cheat faith Calixa, not even you."

I knew he was right but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing that otherwise his ego would sky rocket. So, I simply turned around and walked back to my room and continued to pack the few articles of clothing I had brought.

It was finally time to leave and all the Alphas and Lunas piled into their vehicles, except for the Moonstone River Pack, who lived only 30 miles from the council. They always ran, trying to show off but I was never impressed, I had run farther than that when I lapped my territory.

"Luna Dunamis," addressed Orion as he held the car door for me, "It's time to leave."

I didn't bother telling him I already knew that and complied, sliding into the leather seat of the black SUV. Tyto was in a different vehicle, probably trying to resist the bond since I didn't want to acknowledge it.

"Luna, the Alpha said you should rest for the pack meeting when we get back to the pack. He is going to share what the council meeting was about and Tyto will officially declare you as Luna." Orion suggested, fidgeting in the drivers seat.

I huffed under my breath and curled up in the back seat to sleep. It was difficult without Tyto beside me but I managed to fall asleep after 45 minutes of tossing and turning. Luckily the ride was 3 hours so I had enough time to rest before I was gently shook awake by Orion.

He backed away once my eyes flicked open and said, "Luna, it's time for the meeting, you can go get changed before we start."

I didn't bother replying as I got out of the car and headed to my room in the pack house. Once I was inside my plain beige room, I pulled out the suitcase from underneath the bed and picked out a simple black blouse and white jeans so I would look professional for the meeting.

As soon as my clothes were slipped on, I made my way to the training clearing where pack meetings are normally held and stood next to Tyto once I arrived. His mouth angled into a small smile as he glanced at me and inched closer. I felt the bond pulling us together so we would touch and he followed it. Once his arm gently brushed my own, I felt lost with lust and desire at the sparks and the sensation of being touched by my male.

I quickly closed my eyes so no one would notice my darkened irises and prayed to the Moon Goddess that the meeting would pass.

"Alright men and women of Silver Blood," announced Tyto, authority evident in his tone, "Time to begin the pack meeting so settle down."

'Here we go...' I thought, already counting the seconds til the end.
