Sid:

It was a perfect Sunday morning. The whole family was having breakfast together and spending a quality time. I was looking at the clock nervously because any time she would enter the house. We were all sitting in the living room and watching some random stuff on TV when the doorbell rang and for a while my heart seemed to stop. I somehow controlled myself.

And there she enters. Wait! Who's that small boy with her? Is she already married? Oh why do I care? Just let it be.

I decided to ignore her when she entered. She came towards me first and hugged me taking me by surprise. I was left stunned.

Zaira:

I saw that girl hugging Sid. I would admit that I was jealous of her. She was extremely beautiful.

''Oh God! Sid I missed you so much. It's been such a long time since we last talked." She said getting excited.

''Yeah. Long Time.'' Sid said Awkwardly. "By the way, meet my wife, Mrs Zaira Malhotra.'' He continued and grabbed me by my waist.

That felt good. Well done Sid, I am proud of you! Pfffft! I thought to myself.

''Zaira, Meet Sana. Sana Khan, My college fellow.'' Sid continued.

''Hi Sana.'' I leaned my hand forward which she shook with a smile. I dare you it was a fake one. I could sense it.

''Just a college fellow Sid? Come on! We were best friends. You forgot me so easily? That's not fair. '' Sana argued, accusing him and frowning.

''Yeah. Yeah. Who's this Kid?'' He asked.

''That's ummm my son.'' She answered hesitantly.

''Wow! So you got married finally?'' He asked again.

"Umm yeah. Ab saray questions idhar hi karo gey ya baki logon se mil lun?"
[Will you ask every question here or can I meet others now?]

She asked jokingly and then went to greet Dadi [Grandmother] ,Dee, Arjun, Jeeju [Brother in law], Priya and then Aryan.

"Omg! Aryan you've grown so handsome Han nerdy? Single yet?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"Very much and ready to mingle." He answered with a grin.

We all settled in the lounge and started talking about random stuff.

"So tell us about yourself Sana, I mean Priya and I don't know much about you." I tried to start a conversation.

"I thought Sid would've told you already." I had a confused expression.

"Joking yar [Dude]! Umm So my name is Sana. Sid and I were in the same class and we used to be best friends. We were even rumoured as a couple."
She emphasised on the word "couple".

I could feel awkwardness all around. Sid was just sitting quiet involved in deep thoughts.

"Ahan! Nice! And?" I broke the awkward silence again.

"And then our college ended. We had a farewell party. I swear that was the best party of my life. Do you remember Sid?" She asked him with a smirk.
