XXVII - Girls Night vs Boys Night

All the girls were supposed to be gathered in Zaira's room for the girls night. Sanaya and Zaira were already there while Priya had some work so she was coming in a while. Zaira told Sanaya everything about how she and Sid met and how they fell in love with each other.

"You know, when we were in Hyderabad, I used to grab the newspaper first of all, just to read about him. Then when we moved to Delhi, our first meeting was the most awkward meeting. Priya and I came here to show some dresses to Anjali Dee and he came in my way asking my name. I was stupid enough not to recognise him as he was in Pajamas and sweatshirt with his messy hair falling on his forehead but he did look sexy." She continued.

"Bitch you'll never change." Sanaya said getting excited. "Then what happened?"

"I had not seen him in casual outfits so I confidently replied why do you care and he got angry. I realised who I was talking to and blurted out my name and ran from there." Zaira said smiling.

"Lol, I can understand, meeting your crush and not doing something stupid is impossible." Sanaya replied as she stuffed the crisps into her mouth.

"Then one day he saw Arjun with me. That was my plan when I found out that Arjun was cheating on Anjali Dee. Sid was a very protective brother so he would never spare Arjun for cheating on his sister. I got a job in Sid's office and he forced me to marry him to save his sister but only for 5 months. That was a contract marriage." She continued.

"OMG!" Sanaya said as her face turned into an O with caps lock on.

"Sid thought it was my fault but I agreed because I had to prove my innocence. It was a simple wedding ceremony with no extra rituals. I obeyed whatever he said because it was only what I could do to prove myself. Days passed by and he became somewhat polite. It was Diwali, I was all ready and going out when my anklet fell down. I felt him behind me. He came forward and asked for permission. I nodded and he hooked the anklet around my foot. He leaned forward and I hesitated. My heart was fluttering at the rate of 120 beats per minute. And then he kissed me! Like he freaking kissed me. The first kiss." Zaira continued going all crimson. "Then we got the news of Priya and Rahul's wedding. We were really happy and after the wedding was over, he was guilty of marrying me in such a way. He said that he shattered my dreams. Like every girl, I must have dreamt of a fairytale wedding and what he did was just disgusting. He proposed that we should get married again and everybody agreed. This time it was a true fairy tale wedding. We used to sneak around at night and go on dates and enjoyed our bachelor time to the fullest. After that, we went on a full one month honeymoon to Paris. And when we returned you came." Zaira said finishing her story.

"Oh My God. You guys have just been back from honeymoon and your every detail tells me that Jeeju [Brother in law] is the perfect husband. I am so happy for you Zaira. I am so happy." Sanaya said engulfing Zaira into a hug. Just then Priya entered.

"Sorry guys! I hope I haven't missed anything." She said.

"No! Zaira was telling me about her love story and now it's your turn." Sanaya said grinning at Priya.

"Oh mine is not as cheesy as Zaira's. You know Jeeju [Brother in law] is so so so nice." She said.

"Han Han I know." Sanaya answered.
"Okay, so when Sid and Zaira got married for the first time, it started with a friendship. He used to text me everyday. Then one day he took me out and asked me to be his girlfriend.  I was stunned. I didn't know how to react so I asked for some time and finally said yes. Then at the last Diwali function we told our families and they agreed so we got engaged and then after some time we got married. After that we went on a honeymoon. Typical cliché love story."  Priya said.
