Eventually after what felt like hours of struggling, I was able to get Liam ready and into the car. It's now a little after five and we are finally on our way to the pizza parlor. I'm driving, Evan's in the passenger seat, and Shannon is in the back making Liam even more hyper than he already was.

I just groan, she always gets him riled up and leaves him for Evan and me to take care of. But its times like these when I realize how much she really loves him.

We finally pull up to the front of the pizza parlor at around five-thirty, and the second I park the car both Shannon and Liam bolt out and race to the stairs in front of the restaurant. When I make my way out of the car I hear Liam screaming in victory, while Shannon's whining and claiming she let him win. When I walk around the car I can see Evan trying not to burst out in laughter as we walk to where the two children are still arguing.

"I let you win!" Shannon whines again.

"Nu-huh!"

"Yeah-huh!" Shannon oh so cleverly retorts.

"Am I going to have to separate you two or are you going to behave?" I ask when I reach them.

"Aunty Shannon started it! She's just mad 'cause I beat her," Liam whines while we walk to the entrance of the restaurant.

"Nu-huh! He started it! And I totally let him win," she whines right back.

"For heaven's sake Shannon! You're seventeen years old and arguing with a five year old. What's wrong with this picture?" I ask as soon as we enter the restaurant.

Out of the corner of my eye I see Liam stick his tongue out to her and she sticks her's out right back at him, and all Evan is doing is failing to keep in his laughter.

I groan, having had enough of all them. I storm off to order our food, but I barley manage to take a step before I stop completely dead in my tracks when my eyes connect with beautiful blue ones for the millionth time today.

Shannon must have noticed my reaction because she finally stops arguing with Liam, and looks at me. She turns and follows my line of sight and lets out a small gasp. I can't move, I don't know what to do. Should I just turn and leave?

I'm suddenly ripped from my thoughts when I feel Shannon grab my wrist. I'm about to ask her what she wants when she starts to drag me in the one direction I sure as hell don't want to go.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I yell at her under my breath.

"We're going over to say hi, what else?"

I start desperately trying to claw my wrist from her hand. Why the fuck does she have to be so strong? Finally I manage to free myself, but its way to late. I'm already standing right next to where Mia's sitting, looking like she's as shocked as I am.

"Ms. Jacobs! It's so weird running into you here," Shannon says way too cheerfully.

Someone please kill me now!

"Uh yeah..." I hear Mia manage to say just as Liam and Evan join us. And I'm just standing here having no idea what to do right now.

"I mean what are the odds we all would end up being in the same pizza parlor at the same exact time?" Shannon asks, and I decide I would rather have someone kill her instead of me.

"I have absolutely no idea..." Mia says with an awkward laugh.

Nobody says anything for a couple seconds and I'm about to make an excuse to leave when Mia's friend, who I just noticed is sitting next to her, speaks up.
