My favourite place in all of Gotham was this rooftop on the building on the opposite side of the Wayne Enterprises. Especially at night.
I felt at piece on the moonlight looking down at the city of lights in Gotham. Bludhaven was one of the most majestic sounding cities, but it is basically Gotham's brother city.
I sat on the rooftop, listening to music in peace, hoping that The Batman does not go on this rooftop for his justice beat up. I felt peaceful on this roof.
Then I felt terrified, I heard someone step on gravel behind me. I finally had the courage to turn around and it was this guy, dressed up in black with a blue bird on his chest
"Who are you?" I asked
"Uh, my name is Nightwing.... I saw you standing on this rooftop and I was kind of curious on why you were on here"
"Oh, sorry don't worry I'm not trying to commit suicide.....Sorry I'll leave" I said
"No it's fine don't worry" He said
"Nightwing... How come I have never heard of you?" I asked
"Have you ever heard of Robin?" he asked
"Yes..." I responded
"Well I am the EX Robin" I outgrew it
"Wait, you're Robin?" I asked
"Ex" he said
"You have grown a lot" I told him "My name is Y/N"
"I have a secret identity" he told me
"That much I had figured"
Nightwing had walked over to the ledge and looked down. He took out a random grappling hook from his pocket and turned to me and said
"Just one second" He fell off and swung off the building and did a random backflip in mid air
2 minutes later the grapple of the grappling hook touched the ledge of the building.
He did another back flip to get on top of the building.
"You know I would ask why you don't just take the stairs, but it seems like you love your backflips, what are you, an acrobat?" I asked
"anyways" He completely ignored my question "I actually have to go, so" He threw a backpack at me
"Don't open that until I leave, and also, you should give me a call sometime"
Then he did a backflip off the roof, which did not surprise me at all.
I opened the bag and there was a box of donuts, which I literally did not understand at all, a phone and a bouquet of flowers. I took the phone and said to myself
" I will call you backflip boy, definitely" and I started to walk back home.
