Chapter 2: Trouble at Saks
Suddenly Ms. Cosmo and the woman in the red cape were standing in a dressing room.
“Oh what shall I try on first? With all the new spring colors, I’ll be here forever,” said Ms. Cosmo.
“That’s right, you greedy bitch, so make up your mind,” responded the woman in the red cape.
“Really now,” replied Ms. Cosmo, “I just can’t make up my mind. It’s between the red and black jumpsuit or the hot pink mini or the purple wrap around. Oh I’ll take them all!”
“Just as I thought,” replied the woman in the red cape, “once greedy, always greedy. Well, I hope someone will help you with your parcels, for I surely will not. If you can buy them all, you can carry them all too!”
Ms. Cosmo then replied, “Then you’re not to come with me to any more stores. With all these decisions, I can’t have you hanging around.”
The woman in the red cape screamed out, thruout the entire store, “Well I declare!”
Ms. Cosmo was so embarrassed that she ran to find a corner to hide in. She found one that had a frumpy-looking rug, and so jumped on it. Lo and behold, it was not a rug, but a fuzzy dog belonging to Madame La Creme, one of the richest and most beautiful women in the world.
