Chapter 15: Truck Stop
They rode for day and days, until they came to a truck stop.
After moseying up to the counter and sitting on the stools, a strange woman came out and said, “We’ve been waiting for you.” Then she led them to a back room where there was a swimming pool full of lard.
“Hop in!” said the lady sweetly.
“Maybe not just now,” said Ms. Cosmo.
“Hop in!” growled the lady, as she pulled a whip from the wall and headed towards Dark Dan and Ms. Cosmo.
“I’ve changed my mind,” said Ms. Cosmo as she and Dark Dan jumped into the swimming pool full of lard.
