Warrior pack house up top!! :)
Nina's pov
Something wasn't right.
As I hung over the shoulder of my brute of a mate, my inner conscious was warning me of something. Something big.
"Aaron wait stop." He didn't stop but continued up the stairs. "Please I'm serious, Something's wrong put me down!"
He must have sensed the seriousness in my tone because he immediately put me down scanning over my flustered form. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" He frantically asked as he searched my eyes.
It's coming. We must defend them. Go now.
I couldn't stop myself as I rushed down the steps and out of the front door. Outside the moon shone as a storm brew overhead. As lightning struck near the packhouse, I realized people need to get back inside.
"Go back! Go back inside! Go Now!" I used as much authority in my voice as I could to make them go back inside. There were about 30 of them outside and they scrambled back into the packhouse, looking out of the window.
It was only me, Aaron, Jax, John and Peter, and Sam. As the lightning became more violent I lost my inner battle and felt something take over me.
Aaron's pov
I watched as she walked further into the yard. "Nina. What the hell are you going get back here!" I went to take a step off the stairs only to be pulled back by Sam. "Just watch"
I looked at him as if he'd lost his mind. My fucking mate was playing with fucking lightning and he wanted me to watch?
I turned back to see her in the middle of the large yard. Suddenly a loud clap and bright light caused us all to take a step back and cover our eyes. I opened my eyes to see Nina folded on the floor.
"Nina! Baby get up! Nina!" I struggled against the hold of Sam feeling the tears well in my eyes. I finally folded into his arms as I stared at her unmoving form. Shut the fuck up you baby, she's obviously not dead or you'd feel it
I had never been so happy to hear my annoying wolf in my life. I looked up to see Nina roll onto her back before she slowly sat up. As I take the time to annalize her I see the changes.
She stood taller with an air of pure dominance and power. The winds picked up as she turned to us. Those steely grey eyes were back and they sent chills down my spine.
Suddenly the ground began to rumble as if an earthquake was happening. I watched in awe as lupi infernos (lu-in-fair-nos) sprang from the cracked earth. They were elder wolves who committed outrageous crimes against the wolf population and were therefore banished to rot in hell forever, hince the name hell wolves.
We haven't had them resurrecting since the 1900s. In each generation there's rumored to be a wolf able to tame, kill, and bring back the lupi infernos; however there was never the discovery of one so no one was really sure what they were really able to do.
Yet there she was. Enfant des loups (on-fon-de-lu). The child of the wolves. My mate. My tough, beautiful, yogurt obsessed mate was a decedent of a goddess.
I watched as she was surrounded by the wrinkled and burnt wolf corpses. She slowly rose her hands as they began to glow. Lightning shot down into her hands as her steel eyes seemed to glow before she quickly flipped her hands. Lightning bolts sliced through each of the monsters as more crawled from the pits of hell.
I watched in awe as she used water from the air to freeze them before kicking them back to hell. As she kicked them all down she raised her right hand as the ground began to shake again. The crack was closing.
