Broken-Chapter 10

Nina's pov

After the fight Alpha Blake gave all of my pack the option to join his or become a rouge. As predicted, most joined his pack while a brave few decided to go rouge.

I didn't know what I wanted to do. If I became a rouge I could never survive yet if I joined his pack I would go right back to being everyone else's slave. So much has happened I don't even have time to think anymore.

I head to the pack house to get some rest. The past few days were the most tiring days of my life. When I get into the pack house there are people running everywhere.

Some packing to go to the new pack house, others cleaning the almost empty house, and some children playing tag in the empty mansion. I make my way to the stairs to go to my room.

Along the way I notice a line of guards at the far end of the hall. They all turn to me and bow their heads. I just look at them. I thought I would feel suprised or even happy but I'm not.

It's just..empty. Nothing there. I continue to my room and shower off the days work. I jump in bed and close my eyes hoping for peace.

Alpha Blake's pov

I gave everyone 24 hours to decide if they would join our pack or go rouge. Within the first six hours, over half the people have told me they would join. A small percent decided to go rouge. Me and my warriors head back home to tell the pack of the news.

After the run

We're greeted by my pack trainers, john and peter. "Hey Alpha how'd it go?" Peter asks as he hands me a pair of shorts. They were twins and Peter was always the more talkative one. They looked exactly the same but their personality couldn't have been more different. They were German yet they spoke French and Spanish.

At only 23 they were the best fighters in my pack so I made them trainers, now at 24 they've helped my pack become the best.

I gather the pack in the meeting field and told them the news, I left out the part about meeting my mate. The pack was proud and happy and they even had a little party. We celebrated that night yet the only thing on my mind was that little omega.

The next day (Nina's pov)

I woke up tired even though I had over eight hours of sleep. Today was the day I needed to decide if I would stay with the pack or become a rouge.

I got dressed in baggy black sweats, a dark blue t-shirt, and my black nikes. I put my hair in a ponytail and made my way downstairs. The house was horrible. There was dust everywhere, broken plates, dirt dishes, garbage, and mud all over the place.

The pack must have already headed to Alpha Blake's territory bacuse there was no one in sight. I slowly began to clean the place, needing the distraction.

I cleaned the dishes and put them away, swept all the floors, cleaned all the walls and appliances, dust the whole house, and polished the floors. The whole house was spotless. As I was putting away the cleaning supplies I heard the sound of talking outside.

I looked out the window to see three Strang men. Two of them looked to be twins and one of them must have been a beta from the way his power radiated.

They made their way towards the house as I turned and continued to clean the ceiling fans. I could hear them enter the house and take a deep breathe. I quickly turned to them to see they were tracking mud.

"Hey! Take your shoes off I just polished these floors." I told them as I stepped off the ladder. They jumped and quickly turned to me.

"What the hell are you doing in here woman?" The beta asked. I motioned to all the cleaning supplies and continued towards them. "You're tracking mud in here take your shoes off." I told them again as I grabbed the mop.

They took their shoes off and threw them on the porch. I mopped up the mud as I heard one of them begin to laugh.

"What's so funny?" I asked.
"I don't know why you're cleaning this house when we're just going to tear it down." One of the twins tell me as they begin to walk around.

I don't know why but the news angered me. This was the house I grew up in, granted it didn't posses the most joyous memories,but it was home to me. "Who authorized this?" I asked as I turned to them.

"Our Alpha" I take off in a sprint, with the three men behind me, towards Alpha Blake's territory. He was out of his mind if he thought I was going to let him destroy my home.

We got there to see many people in the yards most from my pack. I stormed up to the pack house and through the door, all the while feeling the millions of eyes following me. I shouted for Alpha Blake as I stood in the living room.

"He's out in the training field"someone shouted. I turned and looked at the three men as they seemed to get my look, and led to the field. The training field was a huge open space with people fighting with and without weapons, and at the front was the Alpha himself.

I stormed over to him as he turned to us with a blank face. As I got closer I saw that it wasn't a blank face but a small smirk. This angered me more.

"Who the hell do you think you are to tear down my home?" I asked low enough as to not let the Warriors hear. He didn't say anything just stared at me. "Well?"I asked.

He continued to stare at me for a couple more seconds before he did the unthinkable. He grabbed me by the waist and kissed me. I tried to pull away but he held the back of my head and pulled me closer. I would be lying if I said there were sparks because there weren't.

It was just this feeling of content and happiness that washed over me as I accepted the kiss. I grabbed at his shirt trying to pull him even closer as we continued. His lips were softer than they looked and felt amazing against mine. I finally found the courage to pull away but not before he grabbed my ass.

I jumped back from him and turned to see everyone staring at us. I looked back at him only to see him licking his lips. I hurried and ran off the field and back towards the pack house.

The kiss was great but I don't think it could ever happen again. I'm just not ready for a mate.

Sorry for the sucky chapter I have a serious case of writers block, which is also why I haven't updated in so long.
