Aaron x Aphmau // Distant but Close

Hi guys this is Rima-Mashiro_nagi this is the first one shot I published hope you like it !

Aphmau's POV

It was a normal day in our neighborhood. It was quiet and calm and relaxing. We were all over at Aaron's house. For a reason I do not know why of, but Kawaii-chan dragged me here. Everyone was just chatting along and just having their own fun. Except me. I was sitting next to Aaron on the couch and I didn't know what to say. I didn't feel uncomfortable, it was just...weird. Kawaii-chan was over in the kitchen with Reese while Katelyn was yelling at Travis and Lucinda laughing in the background. Dante flirting with Nicole. It was weird, I didn't feel like I fit in. I looked over at Aaron and he looked back at me. We locked eyes! 
"Hey, you ok? You seem a bit pale." He said worriedly.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I just need some fresh air" I say as I stand up blushing a tint of pink.
"I'll go with you, I'm not good with these kind of parties anyways." He says as he stands up putting on his jacket(it might seem unbelievable but he's actually wearing normal clothing)
"O-ok!" I say as we walk out to the balcony. It was nice outside.
"So..."he chuckled"I can't even think of what to say" I giggled.
"It's the same here" I giggled again.
He sighed in relief.
"At least I'm not the only one " he smiled.
Thump thump
What was this weird feeling in my chest. I felt he looked handsome for a bit. Wait! Do I have feelings for Aaron? No, ...maybe, ...yes?
"Hey you ok" he said brushing the stray hair on my face away. I blushed.
"Your face is quite red" he asked worried again.
"I-m ok! It's just I'm a bit nervous..." I mumbled.
"About what?" He asked.
"Well..." I started off tensing up"it's just that..." I blushed even more. Why couldn't I tell him. We were close, I know him, why did I start realising my feelings now. I want to tell him how I feel!
"Hey aph, I- I gotta tell you something actually..." He blushed a bit. Weird, I never thought I'd see him blush.
"W-what is it?" I asked completely forgetting about what I wanted to say before. I just got lost in his eyes.
"Well, I've been wanting to tell you for some time now. But... I never got the chance to" he faced me." I-I like you, no I love you" he said blushing"for a long time now.
"Y-you l-like me?" I was shocked. I thought that he only wanted to be friends. He never showed any signs that he liked me... Wait no he did. Like back when we were at the neighbourhood picnic when I held his hand he blushed furiously. He looked away for a bit then back at me.
"You can think it over if you want, but even if you reject me I still at least want to stay as friends." He said a bit disappointed at the last bit. He started to walk back in.
"W-wait!" I tugged on his shirt.
"I-I like you t-too!" I say blushing as I look away. I realised I was tugging on his shirt.
"I-I uh sorry!" I let go.
"You do?" He said in shock.
"Y-yes I do"I replied blushing as I turn to face him.
"Now you may kiss your future bride Aaron-kun" said a familiar voice as I turn to see Kawaii~chan watching us with the rest of our friends at the party. I blush.
"What are you guys doing?!" I say as I get out of Aaron's arms. I get pulled back into Aaron's grasp by Aaron. Our faces inches apart. Our eyes locked.
"Well, why don't we do as they ask"he said giving me a cute little smirk.
"Wait wha-" I get cut off my Aaron kissing me. I kiss back unknowingly. As we hear a squealing Kawaii~chan and an angry Garroth and Laurence. We let go of the kiss as I gasp for air. I bring my hands to my lips.
"It was...sweet" I whisper/mumble to myself. As I thought I said that in my mind.
"Oh was it?" I see a smirking Aaron. I blush furiously.
"Oh, shut up!" I blush red as red can be. He chuckles as we go back inside to join the party. Travis doing karaoke. He was singing a love song for Katelyn. Then as we all guessed she punched him on the head. In secret I think she punches him to hide her love for him. I giggle. It was a lively night and when all the guests went home, me and Aaron were the only ones on the couch.
"I feel like the luckiest man on earth right about now" he chuckled.
"Well that makes me the luckiest woman alive" I smiled.
A few minutes later after talking about random things that happened during the weekend. Then about an hour later he walked me home.
"Thanks for walking me home"I smiled.
"No problem" he gave me a kiss good bye as I walked into me, Katelyn, Kawaii~chan's house. Today was really fun. I smiled to myself as I walked in my room and doze off.
