"Come on, you have to come out sooner or later," Katelyn hears a musky voice rumble in annoyance. "And stop punching the damn wall."
Katelyn threw another punch at the cinder bricks, blood dripping from her hands. How did she end up in the Irene forsaken place? Only to set her father free from that horrible monster.
She looks over at the iron door, seeing the horrifying face of the creature through the metal bars, it's purple eyes staring at her. It's gray skin dry and dusty from the lack of caring about hygiene. Same goes for its bleach white hair, messy and tangled. Dark black horns protrude from the sides of its head. Truly, a beast in it's purest form.
"Come on, talk to me sweetheart," The beast toys, a small smirk appearing on his face.
"I'm not going to speak to my warren," Katelyn speaks sharply, looking away. She punches the bricks one more, not feeling the pain. "And don't call me sweetheart."
"That's a start, dollface," It says, smirk widening.
Katelyn looks up, a sudden surge of fury flooding her body. She walks over to the door, looks him in the eyes, and spits in his face.
"YOU ARE IMPOSSIBLE!" It erupts, swinging the door open. Katelyn backs up in surprise as the demonic creature corners her against a wall.
"Show me some respect, prisoner," he whispers angrily into her face.
Kate stares right back at him.
"Control your temper then, beast."

"Knock knock," the beast calls from outside the door. Katelyn rubs her eyes, sitting up in her bed.
She looks over at the monster. "What do you want?" she asks, slightly irritated.
"I want to show you something," it answers, his face basically begging her to come with it.
She exhales deeply. "Fine."
The creature opens the door cautiously. Katelyn exits the room she's stayed in for what seems like forever. The satin carpet feels like heaven under her bare feet compared to the rocky floor of her prison. Velvet drapes from the dark bricks ripped up with claw marks. She looks down at its hands, sharp fingernails at the ends. His eyes at glued straight ahead, trying to look intimidating as he leads her through the halls. They walk up the marble steps, damaged like everything else in this haunted castle.
They near a two large mahogany doors. The creature turns to Katelyn, hands gripping the handles.
"I hope you like this," it mutters, opening the doors. Light hits her eyes, revealing a large room filled with punching bags, weapons, and a gigantic window showing a beautiful view of the scattered towns, overgrown forests, and towering mountains in the distance.
Her jaw drops. Katelyn walks in slowly, taking it all. She looks back at the beast, who smiles and motions her to run free. She walks over to the brass knuckles lined up on the wall.
"You know you're basically giving me a way to kill you right?" Katelyn laughs under her breath in disbelief.
"I'm hoping you won't honestly," it grins. "You would always look out the tiny window and punch wall constantly, so I thought you might like this."
She puts on the brass knuckles and walks over to a punching bag and punching with such force that the fabric tears.
"That feels way better than a wall," she claims, attacking it consistently.
"I never caught your name," the beast slyly mentions.
"Never came up in conversation unsurprisingly," she retorts. "It's Katelyn."
