She sat in her car, peacefully singing along with her radio. The sights of Phoenix Drop, a rather large city, blew by on each side of her. Her window was rolled down, causing her raven hair to fly around in its messy ponytail.

Walking along the sidewalk, a blue haired male was taking a trip to the market. His hands were in his pockets, his head held low to keep away from the sights of other pedestrians.

An unexpected screeching noise filled both of their ears, followed by a loud crashing sound. Aphmau's car came to an abrupt stop, a short distance from where Dante now stood, staring at the source of the sound.

She slowly opened her eyes, the sound of worried voices and cries of help all that was being heard. She looked out of her shattered windshield at the SUV she had crashed into, which had apparently run the traffic light while it was red.

Dante ran over to help, others dialing 911 for help of the passengers who were too panicked to do anything. He began to look into the windows of the car, finding Aphmau's face lined with tears.

She quietly sobbed, her trembling hands unbuckling the seatbelt. With shaky legs, she crawled into the backseat and out of the door that had been minimally damaged. Sirens were heard in the distance, and she was met with the arms of Dante.

She rested her cheek on his chest as he attempted to calm her. With the thought that she could have lost her life in the past five minutes, both of them were grateful that everyone was fine and were shaken from the ordeal.

"Where are the victims?!" A voice rang out, an ambulance on the other side of the wreckage. Aphmau pulled away from Dante and walked over to the nurses that were scrambling out of the medical vehicle.

"Oh dear," one of the female nurses said, "You're very scratched up. I'm guessing the glass took its toll on you."

"We'll probably need to take her back to the E.R. and remove all of the glass, as well as making sure nothing becomes infected," a male nurse said, ushering her to the ambulance.

"Can I accompany her?" Dante asked, "She's one of my good friends; I don't want her to be there alone."

The nurse hesitated for a few moments, "Well... we—uh—sure."

Aphmau finally spoke up after the nurses and Dante exchanged words, "What about the people I hit?"

"We're trying to calm them down. It was a mother and her two children, and they're all very shaken up."

"Are they hurt?" She asked, scarcely audible.

"Nothing major. They're in the same condition as you," the nurse responded, "Excuse me, but I need to go help my co-workers."

"Understandable," Dante said, letting him leave out the doors of the ambulance.

"Are you alright?" He asked after a while, squeezing her shoulder softly and reassuringly.

"Spooked," she answered, hugging her elbows in a way to ease her nerves, "I didn't expect that to happen."

"It's okay, Aph. You're okay, they're okay. That's all that matters."

"I don't ever want to drive again," Aphmau whispered, now pulling her knees up so she could curl into a ball. She softly leaned into Dante's side, resting her head on his shoulder.

"You have a good reason. Do what makes you comfortable."

It took only a couple hours for the ambulance to bring them to the Emergency Room and for Dr. Doctor to check Aphmau's cuts, bruises now starting to appear on her legs and arms. Afterwards, Dante kept close to Aphmau as he walked her to the bus stop and accompanied her to her house.

Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan sat on the couch, and once they saw the condition Aphmau was in, they both immediately sprung up and rushed over.

"Aphmau~Senpai!" Kawaii~Chan exclaimed, "What happened?!"

"What did this idiot do to you?!" Katelyn interrogated.

"H-He did nothing," Aphmau explained what had happened in a stuttering manner, "Dante was luckily on the sidewalk as it happened."

"Well..." Katelyn sighed, "I'm glad you're not beaten up badly. Maybe you're not as much of a dingus as I thought you were, Dante."

Aphmau grinned up at him, "He's not."

Dante pat Aphmau's head, his stature being drastically taller than hers, "Now go get some rest."
