Garroth x Aphmau // Forever

This story is about Garroth and Aphmau

Two people who have been friends since they were 10

Like all love stories, of course, there's falling in love.

Aphmau had realized her feelings for Garroth 3 years into their friendship. However she didn't want her feelings want to ruin their blooming friendship.

So, the 13 year old Aphmau tried to hide her feelings and acted normally around him.

After 10 years, they had to go their separate ways. The 23 year old Garroth had to go on with his family business while the still 22 year old Aphmau had to go look after her sick grandparents.

Both of them pushed their friendship aside for bigger priorities. Aphmau agreed to cut the communication; she said 'it's better this way'

Although it pained her, she thought it would be easier to forget Garroth this way.

Overnight, she thought about it...

She had to tell Garroth how she felt before they parted ways.

And so, at the airport, she tried to grab her chance.

They hugged each other, so tight that they didn't want to let go.

A: "Gar, I need to tell you something."

G: "Aphmau, I need to tell you something."

A: "Yea, you first."

G: "No, you first"

And then Aphmau realized that it wasn't the right time to admit her feelings.

And Garroth thinks the same thing

Neither of them say what they wanted to say. For so many years, Aphmau didn't love another man.

She waited and waited for him to get back.

She knew deep down that he'd come back and say the words she desires to hear.

6 years of no communication. It was too much for Aphmau to handle.

But, she held up to the last day, the day she got home from work. She checked her voicemail when something surprised her.

"Aphmau, its Garroth. I'll be arriving at the Airport at 8AM , There is someone who I would like you to meet.  See you then."

She was crushed all these years he had never felt the same

But she wanted to show Garroth, that she was tough, that she doesn't feel anything towards him.

The following morning, she dressed her best. Hoping she will out dress Garroth's someone.

She arrived at the airport and she saw a lady walking towards her, a very beautiful lady. No wonder Garroth would've chose her over Aphmau. Aphmau was hurt, she wanted to cry but she held up and greeted the lady

"Hello, I have great news for you." The lady said and smiled

"I know, Garroth's girlfriend, right? I know you're here rto invite me to the wedding"  she tried to smile away the pain.

The lady just laughs. The sweet laugh. The laugh Garroth loves.

And then the lady takes a hold on Aphmau's hand as if to say

"Yes you're right"

And then the lady opened her mouth to speak.

"What's wrong with you, Aphmau? It's me,Garroth!!"
