I watch Garnett exits the dressing room, her dress falling to the ground. I stand wide eyed, her face ablush.

"Wow..." I manage to stay, standing up, "You look wonderful."

"T-Thanks Laurance," she responded in her new angelic voice, something I still can't wrap around, "I just hope prom goes well..."

"I'm sure it will, stutter queen," I purr, giving her a quick peck on the lips, "So is this the one you want?"

"I don't know... You've been saying I look beautiful in all of them that I can't choose!!"

I look down at the current one, a long purple dress that flares out at the waist. It looks amazing on her, but I feel the others looked better.

"I liked the short mint one the best so far, but do you have anymore to try on?" I ask.

Garnett nods, "One that goes from short to long a little, it's light blue."

Her eyes twinkle and I smile wide, "well, what are you waiting for?"

She twiddles her thumbs, her face displaying a frown. I put my hand on her shoulders and look at her in the eyes, "What's wrong, my stutter queen?"

Garnett begins to sob into my chest as the whole store watches. I pat her back as she still is loosing it, "W-What w-will everyone t-think of me? T-They knew me j-just two y-years ago a-a-as—"

I cut her off quickly, "Babe... You don't need to think of your past now. You're fantastic, and terrifically perfect in my mind and eyes. You don't need to do something you don't want to, but I this this will help you in the long run. People will love you, and if they don't, their in for a disaster."

"L-Laurance..." She speaks, looking up with tears pooling in her eyes, "I love you."

"I love you too, stutter queen," I smile, kissing her forehead, "Now, go try on that dress, and whichever one you like best is on me. You got the heels, and the jewelry, now this is all you need."

She silently walks back into the dressing room, coming out in the most elegant dress in the world. It's lace details draw me to her, and the color correlates with her stunning pupils. My mouth hand open as I walk towards her.

I grab her and dip her down, her giggles filling my ears like music. I kiss her and we pull away, leaving us both speechless.

I pull her back up as she smirks, "This is definitely the one."

I nod as she returns it to the bag and we check out, sliding my debit card quickly. We exit the store as we talk all evening, her dreams becoming a true reality.

Might make a part two of this but I'm not a huge Garrance shipper. We'll see my egg McMuffins.
