We've Only Just Begun

Part 43 - Girls Day

I woke up the next day around 1 PM. I was still crazy jet lagged. I would've slept longer if I hadn't heard someone singing loudly from my shower. 

"Could've shown you America, all the bright lights of the universe. We could've reached the highest heights, a different place, a different life..." I smiled as I heard Nathan's low, sexy voice echoing from the bathroom walls. I got out of bed and walked into the steamy room.

"Couldn't use your own restroom huh?" I teased.

"I was banking on waking you up so you'd join me." I could hear the smirk in his voice. 

I peeked around the shower curtain to see him facing the shower head, running the shampoo out of his hair with his hands. I looked up and down his backside, biting my lip. Just before he turned around I jumped back so he wouldn't see me but I was too slow.

"Ohhhh so you just want a lil look-see do ya?" He asked. I walked over to the counter and began brushing my teeth.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I replied. I heard him turn the shower off. He reached out and took the towel hanging off the rack before opening the shower curtain and stepping out, still drenched in water with the towel wrapped around his waist. I looked at him through the mirror and my jaw dropped with my toothbrush hanging out of my mouth. He chuckled and gave me a teasing look before smacking my butt and walking out of the room.

I finished brushing my teeth and I put on my blue jean shorts before going to find him. He was in his room getting dressed. I sat on his bed.

"So you're calling Scooter today right?" I asked him. 

"Yeah, well he should be calling me. I texted him last night letting him know that I needed to chat with him and to call me sometime today, so he should call unless he's crazy busy."

"He's Scooter Braun, he's always busy." I laughed. 

"What are we doing today?" He asked as he laid down next to me on his stomach. 

"Dunno, wanna see what everyone else is doing?" I asked. He nodded his head and reached up to kiss me before we walked downstairs. It looked like everyone else had been awake for a while. Ollie and Max were relaxing on the couch and everyone else was nowhere to be found. 

"Oh good! You're awake!" Ollie said as she stood up. "I was wondering if you wanted to have a girls day? Just us two?" She asked me with a smile.

"Yeah that sounds nice, and it'll give me a good reason to get away from him for a while." I looked up at Nathan and winked.

"Hey..." He pretended to look offended but ended up just laughing. 

"Yeah me and baby Nath need some girl time too, we can go shopping and get our nails done and oh my gosh it's going to be so much fun!!!" Max mocked the valley girl accent and we all laughed. I went back upstairs to get ready. When I came back down, Ollie was waiting for me on the couch with Max while Nathan was making his tea in the kitchen.

"Call me if you talk to Scooter okay?" I told Nathan. He nodded as I stood on my tippy toes to give him a kiss before grabbing my purse and following Ollie out the front door. 

"Where was everyone else?" I asked Ollie as she sat behind the steering wheel of the SUV. 

"Seev and Becca went to visit her parents upstate, Jay and Steph went to eat, and Tom and Maria were still asleep." She laughed and shook her head at the latter two. "Lazy asses." 

She drove us to a restaurant on the beach looking over the ocean. "I could go for a drink right now. You?" She asked me. I nodded and smiled before looking out the window. The waitress came over then. "I'll have a Guiness, Abbey?" Ollie motioned to me.
