We've Only Just Begun

Part 28 - The Shoot

Steph and I stayed at the beach for a couple hours just drinking and talking. I felt my phone vibrate and looked down to see a twitter notification from Nath.

"@NathanTheWanted: I can't find my girlfriend... @darthraderrr where are you?" I laughed and tweeted him back.

"@darthraderrr: @NathanTheWanted haha I told you I was on the beach you dweeb." 

I continued looking through twitter for a couple minutes, tweeting some fans back and following a couple. For the most part I was getting really good feedback from them.

About five minutes passed when I heard Jay's loud laugh coming from behind Steph and I. I turned around and saw him and Nathan walking toward us in their bathing suits. 

"Hey babe." Nath said to me when they got to us. He bent down to give me and kiss, and Jay did the same to Stephanie. 

"Hello." I replied with a smile as he pulled away from me. "How did you forget I was on the beach?" I asked him with a light laugh.

"I didn't forget I just didn't expect you to stay out here for so long. I've been wandering around the hotel for about thirty minutes looking for ya." 

"How long has it been?" I asked.

"About three hours." Jay chimed in.

"Shit, we didn't even realize. I guess we were just having too good of a time." I said. 

"Talking about us?" Jay asked. 

"Duh." Stephanie replied. I looked over at Nath and stuck my tongue out at him.

"You wanna take this party to the pool with the rest of the group?" Nathan asked. I nodded. We gathered up our beach things and walked back to the hotel. I laid down on a chair in between Nath and Ollie. Tom, Seev, Becca, and Maria were in the pool playing chicken, and Max was off with Jay getting more drinks. When they came back with the drinks I realized that we probably shouldn't be drinking since we had to be up super early the next morning for the video shoot.

"Let's make this the last round okay? We don't want to be hungover for your shoot tomorrow." I said.

"Party pooper!" Jay shouted at me. I gave him a shove. He handed me my drink and I started sipping it. I looked down at my phone and the time read 8:45. We stayed at the pool for another hour. I was pretty drunk already and I wanted to sober up before I fell asleep so I wouldn't have a hangover in the morning. 

"Everyone be up and in the lobby by 5:30 AM. You start shooting at 8 and you have to get into wardrobe and make up before then." I announced to everyone. They all nodded, then Nathan and I went back up to our room. 

I tried to refuse Nathan's advances to sleep together that night but of course I gave in, and it was amazing as usual. We fell asleep around midnight and woke up at 4:30 AM so that Nath would have an entire hour to get ready. I didn't get out of bed until 5 to get ready, but Nathan literally took up the entire hour, and a little more, just to take a shower and get dressed.  

We met the whole group downstairs in the lobby at 5:45. 

"Finally." Jay said as we walked toward them. I looked at Jay apologetically and rolled my eyes. 

I was so unbelievably tired. I was wearing sweat pants and one of Nathan's hoodies with no make up. I wasn't going to be in the video so I didn't care at all what I looked like. We got in the SUV and pulled away from the hotel. 

The shoot site was only a couple miles away but I still managed to fall asleep on Nathan's shoulder on the way there. 

"Come on baby, we're here." Nathan lifted my chin up and kissed my nose. 

"You two are so cute, you make me wanna throw up." Tom said. I flipped him off with my eyes still closed as Nath dragged me out of the car. 

The main site of the shoot was on the beach but they got their wardrobe and make up done in the beach house. The director was giving them the run down of the whole video by 7:30 and they were shooting by 8 sharp.

The only thing I didn't like hearing much was that the model the boys were going to be working with was going to be really physically close with them... ALL of them, including Nathan. But I had to force myself get used to it. I was glad to hear that Nathan didn't have to kiss her during the shoot, but Jay did. I looked over at Stephanie and saw her face change from content to extremely concerned. 

"Don't worry. It's just part of the job okay? We don't even have to watch the scene. We'll go inside." I reassured her. She looked down, still concerned, and nodded. 

Jay came over soon after the director was done speaking to the boys and tried to reassure Stephanie, just like I did. I watched them talk from afar and she seemed a little more relaxed after he talked to her, but I could tell she was still a little upset.

I sat on the side lines and watched them work throughout the day. It was truly amazing. I kept waiting for the moment when I wouldn't be taken aback by the mesmerizing work that these boys put in.

The boys got a break around 2 PM to have lunch. Steph, me, and the rest of the girls were standing on the balcony looking over the set on the beach. I felt two arms wrap around my waist and a kiss on the top of my head and turned around to see Nathan. I hadn't gotten to talk to him hardly at all so I was happy to see him. 

"How's the shoot going?" I asked, placing my hands on his chest. 

"Good, but I miss you." He replied. I smiled up at him. I looked around and saw all of the boys with their designated girls, except for Tom. 

"I'll be right back, I have to use the restroom." I told Nath. I walked past him toward the bathroom and when I turned the corner I saw Tom pressed up against the wall by the model from the shoot... kissing.
