Part 20 - Let's Get Physical

*STEPHANIE'S POV*

I sat on the couch next to Jay, his arm wrapped around my shoulder. I was so happy for Abbey. Seeing her with Nathan gave me hope for Jay and I. He didn't know it but I was hoping for him to ask me out tonight as well, but I guess he just wasn't ready.

I let out a sigh.

"You okay babe?" Jay asked.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine. Just tired." I said. 

"Want to go to bed?" 

"Sure." I said and started to get up. "Goodnight guys. See y'all tomorrow." I said to everyone. 

"Oh hey, we have Ellen tomorrow and we have to be there by 9 AM so be up around 7:30ish." Abbey told me and the rest of the room. I nodded and headed toward the stairs with Jay following. When we got to my bedroom I flopped down on my bed and Jay pulled me to him.

"Are you sure you're okay, love?" He asked. "You seem a little down."  

"I promise I'm fine, babe." I said. And I was fine. I was really happy where I was with Jay. I just wouldn't mind our relationship being a little more concrete, but I wasn't about to do anything he didn't want to.

"Okay." He replied. He turned me around and kissed me softly. I closed my eyes and drifted off.

*ABBEY'S POV*

About twenty minutes after Jay and Stephanie went upstairs, Jay came back down. Everyone had left to go to bed except for Tom and Maria who were knocked out on the other couch. 

"I need to ask you something." Jay whispered to me. I looked at Nathan confused and then got up. "You too Nath." He motioned for us to come to the kitchen. 

"Where's Steph?" I asked.

"Sleeping." Jay replied. "Look, I think you and Nathan finally getting together made Stephanie a little down. She won't admit it to me, or herself even, but I know she's looking for something more from me." 

"Oh I'm sure that's not what she's thinking..." I said. "She probably wouldn't mind being official but she's not looking for it--" 

"But I want it too." He interurrupted. My face lit up. I looked at Nathan with excitement and then back at Jay. "I just don't know how or when I should ask her." 

"What about on Ellen tomorrow?" Nathan asked.

"No don't do that. That'll cause an uproar with the media and the fans and we don't need the drama." I said.

"I'm not looking to do it in a huge way, I just want it to be special for her. And me." Jay said. Then his eyes got huge with realization. "I just got the best idea." He said.

"What?!" I asked excitedly.

"No, it's going to be a surprise for everyone. You'll know when it's coming. Give me till tomorrow." He said, and then he retreated and ran back upstairs. 

I gave Nathan a confused look. "Wonder what he has up his sleeve." He said. 

"Can't wait to find out." I replied. "Let's go to bed, we have another busy day tomorrow." 

The next morning I woke up in Nathan's bed at 7:30. I heard Nathan in the shower. I slowly got up and walked over to my room and got ready. I decided to wear a semi-tight, long sleeved black dress where the sleeves and the back were lace, with black pumps and a black leather jacket. Simple yet striking. I pulled my hair up in a very high pony tail and played up my make up a lot, it was Ellen after all. 

When I went back to Nathan's room to see how much longer he had left to get ready, I saw him sitting on his bed looking at his phone with just his jeans and shoes on.

"So that's what takes you so long! You get distracted by your phone." I said to him with a smirk.

"Just interacting with the fans for a bit. I haven't been on twitter in a while." He replied standing up and throwing his phone down on the bed. He looked up at me then and his eyes got so huge. I forgot he had never seen me wear something like this. 

He didn't say a word, he just walked over to me and put his hand on the back of my head, pulled it towards his face and kissed me hard. 

After a couple seconds, he started walking forward making me walk backward, still kissing me. Then he picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he slammed me against the wall making a loud thud. He pushed the right side of his body against me to hold me up while he ran his left hand up my inner thigh. I pulled away from his lips and buried my face into his neck, lightly biting his shoulder to keep from making any noise. He pushed his thumb against me over my underwear and started rubbing, making me squirm and push against him. I bit his shoulder harder and ran my nails up his back.

After a couple seconds he brought his hand back down under my knee and held me so my weight was balanced. "You have no idea how badly I want to rip this dress off of you right now." He said.

I leaned my head back against the wall and he started kissing my neck.

"I wish... but we don't have the... time..." I said through heavy breaths. Then he put me down while trailing his kisses back up my neck and to my mouth. He pulled away and rested his forehead on mine. We both just stood there for a couple seconds breathing heavily. Then he kissed my forehead and walked over to his closet to find a shirt. I pulled my dress down over my butt and just stood there for a second in shock. That was the first time we had ever gotten really physical and it took me by surprise but holy fuck.

He put on his shirt and walked toward me, kissed me softly on the lips, and we walked downstairs where everyone was waiting. 

"Uh ohhhh... Abbey's got a hickey!" Tom said teasingly so everyone could here. My hand automatically went to my neck where Nathan's lips were lingering earlier. 

"And it's fresh!" Jay said laughing. 

I ran to the downstairs bathroom to look in the mirror and sure enough there was an extremely visible hickey on my neck, not to mention my face was really flushed. Ollie came in behind me and gave me a smirk, then she pulled out her cover up and handed it to me. "Happens to the best of us." She said with a wink, and she walked out.

I covered it up as best as I could, dabbed some cold water on my face to get rid of the redness, and went back out to the living room. Everyone turned to look at me with hesitant smiles on their faces. "Not a word." I said to all of them trying to keep a serious look on my face. 

I looked over at Nathan. "Sorry." He mouthed. I just smiled, rolled my eyes, and shook my head. 

"Let's go." I said. And we all left the house, got into the car, and left for The Ellen Show in Burbank.
