Chapter 25- I Was Born Super Messy

"Hey guys!" I chirped, grinning like a maniac as soon as I reached them.

"Hey, Jess," They chorused, a smile on their face.

Biker-dude scowled, "What're you doing here?"

I rolled my eyes at him, "Measuring the length of the grass,"

The guys chuckled and the girls giggled, while biker-dude's expression hardened, "Can't you just give me a proper answer for once?"

I smirked at him, "Can't you just stop asking me stupid questions for once?"

He crossed his arms, glaring at me, "We don't want you here, Jess. Not now,"

I raised an eyebrow at him, "I don't remember you owning this park,"

"Yeah, man. Why can't she just stay?" Sam furrowed his eyebrows at biker-dude.

His glare shot to Sam, "She's going to ruin our gig," He pointed an accusing finger at me.

Oh, so biker-dude and his band was performing at the park today. Hah, I'd like to see that.

"What? How can you say that?" Alex asked, clearly annoyed with biker-dude's accusation.

"You guys don't know her like I do. She's crazy and I know she'll do something to mess this up for us," Biker-dude shot daggers at me.

I have got to say, I was impressed. He knew me too well, but I tried not to let it show or else I'd blow my cover.

"Dude, you have got to stop making assumptions about her, she's our friend," Mike frowned, swinging his arm around my shoulder.

Biker-dude turned his gaze to Mike, "She might be your friend, but she's not--" I flicked his forehead before he could finish that sentence and he scowled at me, "What did you do that for?"

I blinked up at him innocently, "I thought I vanished or something, I was just checking to see if it was true," I smiled sweetly.

He growled, "You little..." He started to advance towards me and I smirked as Mike stepped in front of me.

"Put a lid on your temper, would you? Geez," Mike said.

I sniggered, "Yeah, we wouldn't want you to blow up or anything,"

"Shut up, Jess," Biker-dude snapped.

"If you'll shut up, I'll shut up," I smirked.

He looked like he wanted to stomp his foot in frustration, but without a word, he turned around and stalked off to the stage. He was short-tempered that's for sure, or maybe it was just me.

But, biker-dude was just seriously ticked off whenever I came around. I shrugged, his problem.

I turned to the group, "So, is this your first performance or something?"

Alex nodded, "Pretty much, yeah," He shrugged, "I mean, we have performed at the school's talent show once, but other than that, not really."

Sam nodded, giving me a smile, "Yeah, that's why he's a little worked up. He's been making us practice like crazy for this,"

Mike chuckled, "He almost made us practice over-night too," Alex and Sam nodded in confirmation.

I raised an eyebrow at them, "Seriously?"
