Chapter 37- Normal People Scare Me

"Jess, hurry up! We're going to be late!" Tar said worriedly as she dragged me down the street towards Biker-dude's place.

"It's not like we're missing up on anything, Tar," I replied, "He's probably sitting in a corner in his empty house just waiting for us." I snorted out a laugh, I can honestly imagine that.

Tar didn't reply as she kept walking, really fast, might I add. It was tough keeping up with her too, it seemed like she had rockets on her at this point. I didn't get why she was so worried, I mean, it was Biker-dude of all people.

"Monkeys are more important."

Tar looked back at me for a moment with a confused look, "What?"

I grinned innocently and shook my head, "Oh, nothing."

She furrowed her eyebrows and nodded, walking again with her super speed.

I let out a sigh, there was literally nothing I could do to make her slow down right now. Unless I tackled her to the ground... Tempting, but, no... I must control myself.

It was finally Friday, the day had come and I was so ready. It was time... for vengeance! Not really, but still, sounds cooler that way.

Actually, maybe I will have vengeance on someone just for fun...

I've never really went to a party before, of course it wasn't because I didn't get invited or anything. It's just because there were so many invites that I didn't go at all.

Sounds convincing enough.

But this party invite was from Biker-dude so I was curious to see what he had planned for us. It's not like I didn't want to go, I was actually secretly excited but I'd rather take this secret to the grave than have anyone else know. Especially, Biker-dude.

We finally reached Biker-dude's house and Tar sighed in relief. I rolled my eyes at that, smiling, she was such a worry-wart.

She raised her hand to knock on the door and I stared blankly at her, she was going to knock?

I crossed my arms across my chest and shook my head in disappointment, "Tar,"

She stopped mid-way and blinked, "What?"

I stepped in front of the door and Tar moved aside as I placed my hand on the door handle and smirked, "We don't knock."

"Really?" She asked, confused.

"Yes, really." I laughed evilly as I slammed the door open and walked in, throwing my arms up in the air, I yelled, "Mama's home, kids!"

I was going to liven up this party, I was sure of it and everyone was going to chant my name, but reality struck back and it struck hard.

All my dreams had shattered as laid my eyes upon the state of the room. My grin disappeared and my arms fell to my side, my eyes widening in horror.

What the hell was this?

I gaped, completely speechless. I couldn't process what was happening in front of me.

As I was trying to comprehend the situation, Tar came up from behind me and chirped, "I'm here too, every--" Her words died out before she could finish them.

And then we both looked like fish.

There was nothing there, the room was empty. No decorations, no food, just... nothing. A load of nothing. Except the furniture, Biker-dude and his dog who wearing a party hat and just laying on the floor, on the verge of falling asleep.
