Chapter 35- I'm Truly, Madly, Deeply Insane
I had no idea what to do, the guys were waiting, the girls were waiting, the witches with the bad photography skills were waiting. Honestly, there was nothing disturbing about the picture except for the fact of how infuriating and slightly blurry it was.
I mean, I couldn't believe it! Who in the world told them to change their disguises?! And take selfies?! Seriously, was it really the time to take selfies in the middle of an important mission? And they go ahead and text us an SOS?
I was seriously going to turn into a demon and eat their souls.
I still couldn't wait to rip Addie's wig off and blast off her twin-named friends to Venus. The picture they took had their fanged grins facing the camera with Sam and Tar's sister leaving the restaurant in the background. Shooting an awkward look at the camera.
They both looked directly at the freaking camera!
I gave the stupid witches a simple job, go in, eavesdrop, get out.
Did I instruct them to flash their fangs? No.
Or change their clothes into Edward Cullen's favorite sparkly wardrobe? Freaking no!
"Jess?" Tar spoke up.
I turned to her and placed my hands on my waist, fully annoyed, "What?"
She started fiddling with her fingers, "Well, we've been sitting around here for quite a while now--"
I furrowed my eyebrows at her, "--It has only been ten minutes."
Francine coughed and muttered, "Twenty."
I waved a dismissive hand at her as Tar continued, "--And well, I think we should go check up on them. We're caught anyways." She has got to be kidding me right now.
I gave her a sarcastic grin, "Wow Tar, you're such a genius!" She smiled shyly and I had the sudden urge to get run over by a truck, "We should just waltz in there, pinch their cheeks and squeal about how cute their picture was!" Her smile fell and I smacked my forehead, hard, which made Tar and France wince as I gave them another sickly sweet smile, "And oh, I almost forgot! We should say 'hi' to Sam and your sister too!"
Tar let out a nervous laugh, "Um, so... plan B?"
I threw my hands up in the air in frustration, "Where would we get plan B?! It's not like it's passed off to people like a bunch of fliers!"
Tar frowned but didn't say anything, France looked between us and sighed, standing up and looking at me, "Listen, Jess. I know that you're upset that your plan didn't work out--"
I raised an eyebrow at her and crossed my arms, "--Well, that was because of the unwanted company--"
Francine held up a hand and continued, "--But, that doesn't mean we freak out or... well, freak out."
I groaned, "What else am I supposed to do then, huh?" I looked at the tree beside me and my eyes widened in realization as I moved closer to it and started to try and climb it, "Maybe I should start living in the trees and call myself, 'Jess of the Jungle'."
Francine let out an exasperated sigh as she tugged me away from the tree and turned me to face her. Then, she looked at me right in the eyes and said, "I have a plan."
Well, happy new year, folks!

Addie huffed and crossed her arms, kicking the dirt, "We were just having some fun, I didn't think we'd get noticed."
