Chapter 4| Visual Thoughts

Yana's POV

"What is your evidence? Do you have any quotes? Why does she feel embarrassed about her culture?" I ask. "Here I have this," he took out his planning/ layout paper for his essay paragraph. "Do you know how to put these into sentences?" I ask. "Sorta," he said. "Okay, I will give you sentence starters and you can use them for your paragraphs," I said. I wrote on a piece of paper sentence starters, for Taekwoon. "It's just the link is a bit difficult," he said. "I will help you with that, when your finished with the other sentences," I said as I type my essay draft on the laptop, so it's easier for my teacher to edit.

I look at Taekwoon, once in a while to 'see' if he is doing his work. Sometimes he catches me and I just smile, to cover it up. After I was able to finish typing up my essay, I check on Taekwoon is he is done, "Do you need any help?" I ask. "Yeah, can you read it and help me with the link?" He said. "Sure," he passes me his book and I started reading it.

"Okay, you've done well. So for the link you just, go back to your original argument and how it relates to it basically," I gave him back his book. "Thank you, for helping me. You're actually a really good teacher," he said. I smile, "Thank you, Taekwoon. I really appreciate it," I said. He finishes off his paragraph, "Well that's done," he said. "Then you can use that paragraph to help you write your other ones, just remember to not write too much before you have to cut," I said. "Okay, got it," he said. "Where do you have class?" I ask. "I have class in E block," he said. "Same, well I got to go before I get late," I said gathering my things. "I'll go with you," he said. "No need, it's time consuming," I said. "I'll see you later," I said.

"Okay," he waved, while I wave back. I make my way to class and meet Jessica and Adrian, "So how was it?" Asked Jessica. "It was good, it seemed like he didn't really need help," I said. "Because he wants to be with you. The thing when couples study together and that," he nudges my arm. "Hey, Yana" Taekwoon walks passed us. "Hey," I said before he proceeded to his classroom. "Ayee," said Jessica. "Look the thing I'm worried about, is that if we become a couple what happens if I don't see you guys anymore. Maybe you'll think I'll forget you guys," we all sat down on our table. "Look we understand and we do have classes together, so it's all good, besides we can also go out together right?" Said Jessica. "Right," Adrian and I said.

"Alright guys, today is a catch up day. So you guys can work on your essays and narratives, and submit them to me through google drive to edit," said the teacher. "Okay," we all said. "Oh yes, Yana I got your essay, I'll edit it now," she said and I nodded.

Taekwoon's POV

"How was studying with Yana," said Daehan. "It was good, she helped me with my essay," I said. "So did you do anything?" Daehan nudges my arm. "No, she was busy doing her essay while I wrote out mine," I said. "So are you going to confess?" He asked. "Maybe soon, before I go," I said. "At the same, time it's pretty stupid since if she accepts you guys won't spend time and then it will be long distance," he said. "I know it seems selfish as well."
