Chapter 60| Separation.

Author's POV

'Beep beep beep.'

The sound of the heart monitor, filled the room. Taekwoon, Yana and their parents watched Yana's Father lay on the hospital bed.

A shot in or around the liver. They were thankful that it wasn't the spine or the left where the heart is.

Angela Nami was arrested again and the men were captured as they made the run. But it was too quick to make the mental note of what has happen.

The only memory that the couple remembered was a loud bang as the doors open, Taekwoon pulling Yana in front of him then her father trying to protect Taekwoon. Blood was smothered all of Taekwoon's suit and Yana's white dress as they try tried to help their father get to the right position for the least amount of blood loss.

Yana couldn't bare seeing her father suffer, so she left the room. Jisung stayed at the hotel with Minyool so they could all be safe. Taekwoon followed her out and saw how she sat down before she broke down.

"Come here, dad will be okay."

Taekwoon embraced Yana completely as she continued to cry. A day that is supposed to be happy turned out to be a disaster and traumatic. "How did Angela get out?" The question that they were all thinking about once she entered the room, the saseang who turned into a criminal for her own pleasure.

Taekwoon felt guilt in his heart, knowing that a person who looks up to him or just wants him afflicted pain and trauma to the people he genuinely loves. Not only guilt, anger, rage and shame.

Angela must have forgotten that Taekwoon was human.

"Taekwoon, Yana you should go home and tend to Jisung, he must he waiting for you."

As they came home, Jisung was fed one more time before being put to sleep after the long day.

"Yana, I'm so sorry." Taekwoon back hugged Yana as they both don't know what to do anymore. "It's okay, let's just go to sleep."

Everything has gone to waste.

He was getting older and older. A wound, a shock, a sudden shot of pain would have killed him. His sicknesses that he's been going through, those health complications he has, it was inevitable and Yana was ready. Yana really wish Jisung could be with with his grandfather for a little longer but once again it was inevitable.

Yana couldn't sleep, so she stayed in the kitchen to get a glass of water and some fresh air. A secluded room was too suffocating for her. Yana needed to be alone, she wanted to go away, she wants to forget everything but as her mother told her, "From now on there will be so many sacrifices." Yana couldn't leave Jisung and she couldn't leave Taekwoon.

"God why is my life so shitty???" Anything good that happens is repaid back with something worse. Like when she saw Taekwoon again, Angela had to come straight after and ruin literally everything. Why does she have so much hate in her heart for Yana??? Angela is a criminal, a murderer, a parasite to society and Leo's so-called 'fan.'

Yana looked at the clock and it was five in the morning, sleeping was not an option for her. So she grabbed a post-it note and wrote, 'Taekwoon, I couldn't sleep so I am going to the hospital. I'll see you soon.' Taekwoon was in deep sleep so she quietly grabbed her clothing and made her way to the hospital.
