Yana's POV
Time flew by as we enjoyed teaching more and more everyday sadly the experience came closer to its end. It's quite saddening how Jericho and I had to break to them that we are going to leave soon even though we told them at the start that we are only temporary.
The staff members held a celebration for us student teachers and we talked about the joys of teaching even though they could get rowdy at times. I guess we had it better since some didn't enjoy it because of the students or how they get really nervous whenever they teach in front of people they just met. But they need to remember that they are being influenced by us, with our mannerisms and what not. So stepping up and being confident will reassure them that they will learn well.
During the two weeks staying here, we finally got the chance to meet Zafar's family, they are so kindhearted and loving. It touches me how open they are, but it feels like a burden because we didn't want to disturb them even though Zafar insisted us to visit his place before going back to the hotel. The children are adorable, as they tried they're best to speak english, so we were able to help them as well learn more which they were really happy.
Jericho and I were able to also go around and explore of the city we were in. Trying good street food, buying a few souvenirs for the family and friends and just enjoyed talking to the locals who taught more about their culture to us. I can say that Jericho and I have became tremendously close with each other and seeing the gentleman he is.
I guess this is the trip where we learnt more about each other in a way that it's faster than a normal friendship, even though I haven't replied to his confession; I was still able to be comfortable with him and not awkward even though it lurked around in my head that he likes me in the 'relationship' way.
"Thank you so much, for your hospitality," we thank Zafar's family as we had dinner with them for the last time. "The pleasure's ours, well Zafar will take you home," we walked to the car and he took us back, to the hotel. This time Jericho and I were able to rest and have fun while we ate and drink. I know most people would say that you shouldn't drink with a guy alone especially when they are not your partner or family, because who knows what I will happen. Oh well if something's meant to happen there is always a reason.
"So did you have any past relationships?" He took a gulp of beer. "Yeah I did, before he moved back to his country," of course I'm not going to tell him that he became famous and what not. "How long did it last?" I gave it thought as it was quite a while ago, "It lasted a few months, but we both ended on good terms since we promised each other that we will both succeed in what we want to do," I said I opened the bottle of soju and pours us two a glass, surprisingly they sold some here as well, considering that this is an international hotel.
"Do you still talk to him?"
"Not as much as before since we both became really busy," He nodded. I am still going strong after a few drinks and now soju but at the same time we are also eating so it slowed down the process. "Well I'm glad that it didn't end badly, I guess that you two are very mature when it comes to things like that."

FanficWhenever I look at people in love, I cringe. It looks like a hole, I can't get out of. How would they let themselves be like that? What happens if that happened to me? I can't let that happen. To me at least. I don't want to waste time, it should...
