Author's POV
It was close to the due date of Yana and Taekwoon's first child. The company suggested that Taekwoon should take a maternity leave, but with VIXX's success rate boosting, there was nothing stopping him.
Taekwoon still has his undeniable attention to Yana as she became more and more fragile, making Yana feel very guilty of having tired Taekwoon looking after her. Jamie and Woosung has been assisting Yana of the few months since they also knew about Taekwoon's situation. But they both completely understand.
A man who is about to be a father, doing concerts, making comebacks, performing in musicals and other events that the public eye witnesses.
People would sometimes assume that he would be the type to work more and be away from home often. But it's wasn't his choice, Taekwoon wants to be home with his soon-to-be wife taking care of her especially once the child is born making as many memories from the start. It would he Taekwoon's biggest regret if he neglected his duty as a father for his career.
It seems like everything is going fine with Yana and Taekwoon, but wasn't like that always. The problem with Angela Nami was still there, at any given time anything could happen. The emotion of needing to protect was definitely there, especially when an unborn child is involved.
"Are you feeling okay?" Yana was feeling uneasy, despite the workload Taekwoon decided to take a day off to make sure that Yana is in an well enough condition, considering the due date being close. "I'm okay, just pain here and there," Yana would refuse taking medication especially painkillers before it affected the child. But a little stretch would do just fine for temporary relief. Taekwoon sitting next to Yana making sure that she is well taken care of, his phone rang and he answered it.
"She is doing fine, just worrying since the date is nearly here.... if there is any problems tell me straight away." Yana watched Taekwoon hang up and place the phone on the table.
"It's about the rehearsal for the concert, but I'm sure that it will be fine." Yana felt guilty that she is the reason why Taekwoon is at home and not working on something that he is passionate about. Making a better performance for the fans and thanking them for they are the reason why they are at that stage.
People would say that it's a waste of energy to be a fan, since the celebrity doesn't even know you or even think. But if you put it into perspective, that celebrity would have a place in their heart for those who he knows and the ones he doesn't for whatever reason.
Because the fans are the reason why one has a career in what they are passionate in and realise how much people appreciate them even by the slightest bit.
The couple are just very grateful and blessed that their announcement didn't backlash compared to other celebrities they know.
Yana having struggles to move, she decided to sleep downstairs so she didn't have to go up and down every single time. Taekwoon gladly agreed and joined Yana so she won't feel lonely, but soon their parents will arrive so once the child is born they can also assist Yana and Taekwoon.
As time went by, Taekwoon listened to Yana's requests and helped her whenever she needed help. It makes Taekwoon nauseous when Yana is struggling, sometimes he wishes to take the pain away. "Women are really strong."
"Our mothers went through this... more than once."
"But it will get better though since the pain would be familiar," said Yana, Taekwoon nodded in agreement. There are approximately less than two weeks before her delivery to be precise. So everything is critical for now on, "So what are you going to do for your solo performance?"
