Chapter 29| Overthinking

Yana's POV

"It's fine."

The hint of sadness and relief I hear in his voice. My words seemed harsh when I talked to Taekwoon, I guess it was just the natural reaction and I didn't know how to handle it well.

But we both agreed on that this is a shocking meet between the two of us.

"What do you want Taekwoon?" I'm still within his grasp. "Can we start as friends again?"

"Sure," There's nothing wrong with starting as friends again, but this where we both have to be more careful. The fact that Jericho and I are also in a long distance relationship, I just wonder what the result of us will be.

"Let's go back, they'll be wondering where we went," I walked down the stairs while Taekwoon trailed along. We headed back to the staff room and I went back to work and Taekwoon went back to his group members. The casually come up to me from time to time to see if I needed anything which was really sweet of them. But I didn't want to order them around so I just let them sit down and talk amongst themselves before we head to teaching my other english classes.

"Well we'll meet each other again tomorrow, please stay safe," said Cha Hakyeon. "Thank you, please stay safe as well," I said back to them as I have my bag over my shoulder while I have files in my arms. "Do you want us to help you?" Asked Hyuk. "Oh no it's fine, I can handle it... besides you guys might be busy."

"Okay, see you later Yana," we all waved at each other before we leave.

Taekwoon's POV

Before I head to the van, I see Yana with her workmate walking to the car, putting their things into the back before they drive off. I wished for a better meeting and more time to talk but things can't go on our way.

Yana's POV

"So how was it?" Jamie who has been my friend since we arrived around the same time in Korea. She's been a really good friend and I could basically tell her anything, luckily we are neighbours so we are able to hangout easily. "So what group is it?" We sit down on the floor and start marking papers. "VIXX," Jamie is not fond of Kpop and she's sometimes gets irritated, of listening to it everywhere. "I don't know them, but wow. After so many years, he still does."

He could have dated very pretty idols and what not, but instead he stuck onto me.

We spent most of our time marking papers and talking, and for dinner we ordered food. Until Jamie has to leave to go to sleep.
