Chapter 5| Gut Feelings

Yana's POV

I saw Taekwoon's post, he went out of his way to do that especially late at night. So I messaged him right after I saw his post. "Taekwoon, thank you for what you did, honestly I don't really know what to say," I messaged him. "It's alright, I did it for the right reasons :) I'll see you at school," he texted back.

"Dammit I have a exam today," I said to myself while packing my bag. Omma and Appa are still asleep, so I didn't want to disturb them. After I changed into my uniform, I went downstairs with my bag and took fruit and Up&Go to eat while I study.

I took the early bus to school as it was a short route than walking the way, school starts at 9am it's 7:50am so I have an hour to study in the library.

As I got to school the library was already open, so I took the table closest to the heater to keep me warm. "Good morning your early," said the Librarian. "Yes, I'm just putting extra time to study," I said. "That's good, I hope all goes well," said the Librarian. "Thank you," and I went back to my work. "Why does everything have to cram together?" I say to myself. "I know right, it's too much," I look up and it was Taekwoon. "Oh Taekwoon, hello," I said.

"Hey," he sat down. "Studying?" He looked at my work. "Yeah, just trying to fit in extra time," I said. "Wait why are you here? Are you supposed to be with your friends?" I put my pen down. "Well I was looking for you, so I thought you'd be here since I didn't see you in your regular spot," he said. "Ahh okay," I said packing my things as I didn't see a point in revising. We both head out to the quad and a few people from our grade has given us looks and stares as we stood together talking. "You know you didn't need to put that status up," I said.

He rests his hands on my shoulders, "Hey it was the right thing to do. I couldn't let them bully you," he said. "It's understandable. You're pretty well known for sport, many girls has crushes on you and then you go for someone like me. Of course people would be speculating," I said. "I thought girls wouldn't like me as much because I am cold towards them," he said. "It's the fact that you're mysterious, they would think why your like that then. BOOM! They can't stop thinking about you," I said.

"Is that the same way you feel?" He leans in closer waiting for me to answer, but he bell went. "I got to go to class now, I don't want to be late for the exam," I quickly said before rushing off.

Taekwoon's POV

"This girl," I grin. I head to class thinking about her, my friend is absent so I sat by myself. I couldn't stop thinking about her, smile, personality, the way she gets shy all of a sudden and so many things. 'Is it just me or she likes me as well?' I thought to myself while spinning my pen. "Taekwoon, is there any errors in equation?" I snapped out of my trance as the teacher asked me a question. "Which question?" I ask. "Question 2" I said. "It's right, because this equation has been converted evenly," she gave it a tick. "Phew," I whispered.
