There is something about that jerk, he just continues to get on my nerves. I walked into my Aunt’s and Uncle’s slamming the door behind me. Uncle John smiled at me as I grabbed my dinner and walked up to my bedroom. I sat on my window seat, I do not like fish it is disgusting. I heard a faint meow and saw a black cat, I didn’t want to frighten it. I put my plate on the floor and the black cat started nibbling on it. I went to get some milk, I grabbed a bowl and poured the milk in it. When I got back Blacky – the name I had thought of for the cat – was nearly finished. I put the milk down. Once he was done, he curled up on my lap while I clapped him.

“Cassie,” My Uncle John looked at me and the cat. “Why do you have Barty?” He asked me.

“He was in my room and I fed him. Can we take him back to his house?” I asked. He nodded, I stood up with Blacky close to my chest. He started to purr and I smiled.

Uncle John drove up to the house that was on the cliff, thing is it’s a mansion. Uncle John knocked on the door and a woman answered.

“John, how are you? Come on in.” This woman had long blonde hair, a killer body I would love to have at her age and her smile was beautiful. I really envied this woman. “I’m Janesse, you must be Cassandra.” Her voice was like music to my ears.

“It’s Cassie, I found Black- I mean Barty in my room.” I told her and smiled.

“Lucas come here!” She shouts at the bottom of the stairs. “Take a seat, tea or coffee John?”

“Coffee Janesse.” John replies and takes a seat.

“Go upstairs the room on the right, third door down.” She tells me and I walk upstairs with Blacky – I’m not going to stop calling him that – I find the room pretty easily, I knock once and walk in. I come face to face with the jerk that I hit twice today. He hasn’t even got a top on, his body is hot like smoking hot.

“Are you done yet?” He asked me in a tensing tone. I rolled my eyes and held Blacky closer to my chest. “What the hell are you doing with Barty? He’s a murderer!” He yelled and Blacky purred. “What?” He shouted and I let Blacky out of my arms.

“No wonder he’s a murderer especially if you are his owner.” I told him, and looked at Blacky. “Why can’t you murder him for me?” I asked Blacky, who walked between my legs.

Something went whizzing past my head. “You threw a book at me!” I screamed and picked the book up and flung it back at him. It hit his stomach, he didn’t even flinch. He flung a lamp and it hit my stomach, I doubled over in pain. “Ouch, I’m a girl. You are not meant to hit girls.” I said while rubbing my stomach.

“Is that something you’re daddy told you?” He shouted.

“My daddy is dead!” I screamed and felt tears forming in my eyes.

I turned on my heel and ran out of his house. I didn’t stop when my Uncle John or Janesse, I didn’t know the other man’s name who was trying to get me to stop. I ran down the road. I slumped against a tree, crying over the loss of my parents once again.
