Cassandra gave me evils as she walked into registration and sat next to Gerald Jervis. She smiled at him and I could see his litte brain working overtime. Like I said, I hope she kicks his butt.

I strained my ears to hear what he was saying.

"Yeah... I was on the football team last year, and I dated every single one of the cheerleaders..."

"Well that's nice." Cassandra said, I could hear her flick her hair. Guava shampoo wafted over to where I was sitting.

"Uh huh, and they thought I was the best- if you know what I mean..." He sat back in his chair, I could hear the legs of it creaking.

"Right..." I couldn't hear what she said next so I turned to look at her. She was looking at me with such amusement I fall off my chair. Again. After much laughing and the likes, she returned to Gerald. I sat back up and listened again.

"As I was saying, everybody want's to go out with me..." Gerald sighed, as if it was a burden.

"I bet they do, tiger!" Cassandra's sudden flirty-ness startled me- and Gerald.

"Uh, yeah... So... Ahem... Did I say I dated the cheerleaders?"

Lunch was... eventful. I had struggled through double Biology AND double Geography, so it was a relief at least. I lined up and bought an apple, which sat on my tray, untouched, the entire lunch break. I sat at a table at the back, next to Gerald's Jock table, and I found myself once again listening to his dulcit tones.

"Did you see Grey's legs?" What?

"Yeah, those shorts made her bum look well fit." WHAT!?

"Back off guys, she's my toy, get your own!" WHAT!?!?

I stood up and walked to their table. Somebody stake me.

"Shut up." I seethed.

"What?" Gerald's friend, Luke I think he was called, spoke up.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" I yelled, and I put my fist down- literally, his pizza went everywhere.

"Why don't you?" Gerald drawled, standing up to his full height.

"Why don't YOU go to hell and leave Cassandra alone?" I shouted, standing my ground as much as he did.

"Cassandra can do as she wants." Said the girl herself, stepping into view.
