I woke up, I’ve been here for a week, and I actually want to go home already. It’s stupid I know but I am going back to Noosedale today. I feel better when I’m in Noosedale, its stupid right? I got the plane back this time, it was easier for me. I got off the plane two hours away from Baskerville. Uncle John picked me up and took me home where Savvy was waiting for me.
We got in and Savvy hugged me straight away, I gave her an ‘I heart NY’ t-shirt, she smiled like an idiot. She stayed the night, we watched some DVD’s I brought back from New York.
The day whizzed past, when Savvy left I raced up stairs grabbing my phone. I scrolled down and saw Lucas’s name… I sighed and hovered over the green button, if he doesn’t answer I’ll delete his number. I told myself.
“This phone number is not recognized.” The voice said. It won’t hurt to try again.
“This phone number is not recognized.” The voice said.
“This phone number is not recognized.” The voice said.
“This phone number is not recognized.” The voice said.
“This phone number is not recognized.” The voice said. I flung my phone on the floor, yes I tried to call him five times.
I clicked delete, a message asking if I was sure I wanted to delete ‘Lucas.’ Stupid phones, no I’m not sure, but I need to. I pressed ‘Yes’. I no longer have Lucas’s number, he left and now I am going to act like I don’t have a care in the world.
But you do. My mind said, I told it to shut up, as I got dressed in shorts, vest top and cowboy boots. I did my hair and makeup quickly.
I got to the beach party, where I was meeting Savvy. I stole wine, vodka and cider from my house. I ran over to where Savvy and her friends were sitting, I wasted no time drinking the wine and cider. I shared the vodka with my ‘new’ friends.
“We should get you home, Cassie.” Savvy giggled.
“I don’t wanna go home,” I slurred. “Let’s go swimming?” I shouted everyone ran into the water. “I just want to not have a care in fucking world.”
“Hey Cassie, looking good.” A guy with brown hair said… “We just met five minutes ago?”
“Oh, yeah.” I lied, I don’t remember him. “So, Andy how are you?”
“It’s Jason.” He laughed. “Come here.” He pulled me into his body his hands on my lips I couldn’t help but wish it Lucas. His lips met mine and it was rubbish compared to Lucas.
Stop thinking about Lucas. I deepened the kiss pushing thoughts of Lucas out of my head. I pulled away and walked to the beach where Logan followed me.
“Logan, I need to clear my head.” I said and sighed.
“You do, because my name is Jason.”
“Where’d Logan go?” I asked confused. “Oh god, I’ve lost him.”
“There is no one called Logan.” He put his hand on my arm,
“Get off me!” I screamed and bolted away from him, tripping up and smacking my head off a rock. I felt blood trickle down my forehead, wow I bet Lucas would love this blood.
Fuck, again with him.
