I woke up with my head on Lucas’s chest, remembering last night I smiled to myself and bit my lip. I yawned and sat up as someone banged on my door. I scrambled to open it.
“You know if John was here he would take the lock… What is Lucas doing in your bed?” Aunt Fiona asked me.
“He stayed the night.” I mumbled.
“Did you have” I cut her off.
“No!” I shouted waking up Lucas. Aunt Fiona pushed past me and smiled at Lucas. Oh dear lord no.
“What is going on between you and Cassie? Because every time I ask her she says nothing.” She asked Lucas and I blushed.
“Well I’m afraid I’m saying the same.” Lucas said and I smiled.
“Oh, I can never win.” Aunt Fiona muttered as she left the room. I slid back into my bed next to Lucas.
“Have a good sleep?” I asked.
“Good you?”
“Pretty much the same, and I could fall asleep again… Especially next to you, you’re extremely comfy.” I smiled as he laughed. I pulled his face to mine and gave him a sweet gentle kiss, I buried my face into his neck and breathed in his scent.
“Comfy there?” He asked and I nodded.
“Night.” I wrapped my arms around him and fell asleep into a nightmare free sleep. I felt him kiss my forehead.
