I walked into school late, as I slept in and had to take a shower, Aunt Fiona was moaning saying I should leave with wet hair.
I sat down and fell asleep in maths, English, and Chemistry. The bell went for lunch, I went to the toilet and saw a girl in there.
“You must be Cassie, you’ve made quite an expression.” She said and her big brown eyes watching me. “You know, with Lucas. He is every girls dream, shame he’s interested in you.” Her words were kind and there was no jealous there.
“Wait, what? Me and Lucas,” I started laughing and looked at her. “Me and Lucas aren’t anything, we’re friends but kind of like to annoy each other.” I said and her face relaxed.
“Oh, you’d be cute together. I’m Savannah, call me Savvy though.” I shook her hand and made sure I looked okay for the big scene I was about to cause. “Do you want to sit with me and my friends?”
“Sure, expect I have to one thing. We can do it on the way to the canteen.” I told her and we left the toilets. I saw Gerald and walked right up to him.
“Hey babe.” I slapped him right across the face. “What hell is that for, you bitch?!” He shouted.
“Oh for insulting me yesterday.” I shouted.
“You believe what Birch says? Really he doesn’t want you in fact no one wants you here.” He snarled.
“I saw it on your HeadMovie account, yeah your pretty fucking dumb. I don’t care if no one wants me here, I am here.” I snapped I went to walk away but he grabbed my arm. “Get the fuck off me.” I shouted.
“You are nothing, you hear me. Everyone knows you have the hot’s for Lucas! Why? I have no idea. He’s not as good looking as me.”
“He’s a lot better looking than you,” I admitted. “A fucking pig is a lot better looking than you. You look like a drowned rat.” I covered up the fact I admitted Lucas was hot but Gerald heard it.
“Told you, she has the hot’s for Lucas Birch!” He shouted and to his surprise most of the girls said ‘Clearly, she is a female.’
“Any female is attracted to the Lucas Birch.” Savannah said and pulled me to her table. “So how bad you got the hot’s for Lucas? Because everyone thinks since you came, he’s different well kind of, he hardly speaks to anyone. Now you’ve got him talking to you or shouting and even got him standing up for you.” Savannah’s friend’s nodded their heads in agreement.
“I don’t have the hot’s for Birch.” I shouted and everyone went silent.
Do I have the hot’s for Lucas? Oh god help me.
