I woke up on the beach, how drunk was I last night? I groaned sitting up, I fixed my hair feeling a cut on my head. Great… I stood up and realized I was still drunk, on a Sunday. I stumbled home, opening the door quietly and sneaking into my room, I fell onto my bed for a nice sleep.

We can help, just let us.

I kept hearing that voice saying the same sentence, in my sleep. I went for a shower and phoned Savvy who was hangover and wanted to sleep. So I decided to walk to the shop, because I was bored.

I walked in and the clerk winked at me, he was around my age and good-looking but why was he winking at me? Did I do anything with him last night, was he even there. I grabbed water, magazines and a bag of grapes, I paid for it and went to the park. It was sunny and quiet, so I sat at the bench flipping through the magazine and eating the grapes I bought.

Someone  pushed me, I fell off the bench and frowned standing up. I  looked at the person who pushed me  off the bench, it was him.

I left everything at the bench, and I ran home. My legs were about to give up when he tackled me against the wall.

Now, I had no Lucas to save me. I hit him with everything I had in me, he loosened his grip and I ran as soon as I got free. I didn’t realize I was going in the wrong direction until I spotted Lucas’s house. I turned and saw him coming at me, and fast.

I ran up to his house, my hand was on the front door when I was yanked back. I screamed as he plunged his fangs into my skin. I fell the ground, am I dying? I opened my eyes, to see Vikrum, killing him. I felt my eyelids drop and everything turned black after that.
