When the sun has finally set and the light rays started to wake everyone up from their sweet sleep, one girl opened her eyes halfheartedly.
Nakakaramdam pa siya ng antok ngunit wala siyang ibang choice kundi ang tumayo para asikasuhin ang sarili.
She went in front of her large mirror, seeing how messed up she is. Magulo ang kaniyang buhok pati ang damit na suot.
Sa kaniya, patunay iyon na talagang maganda ang kaniyang tulog but the sun totally ruined it.
Before the story totally starts, her name is Cheska Park, the daughter of Arnie Park and Tyler Park. She has one younger brother named Joshua.
Their family is simple yet wonderful—that is how she describes it. Her life is simple yet she loves it so much.
It's like she won't ask for anything more. She's contented with what she already has.
So, what caused her to wake up that early? Today is her first day as a graduating student.
Yes, summer is finally over and even her life has already everything, she still has to study for her future.
Even her mother says no to that idea because her future is already planned and secured. There is a company waiting for her and her younger brother.
In fact, he's already starting.
But she insisted to study. She has this obsession with studying which she couldn't explain.
Puso na lang niya ang nagsasabi noon. Gusto niya talagang magaral simula't sapul.
She loves the process of learning. She loves new pieces of knowledge.
At dahil mahal siya ng kaniyang ina, pumayag na rin ito and asked her younger brother to look for a good university.
And he found Lee University.
Lee University is known as the only university in the whole world that can hold different students from different worlds.
Meaning, you cannot only find normal students there just like what the normal schools have.
That university is composed of privileged students from the Outside World, Underground World, and Mafia World. By the word 'privilege' means students with wealth and connections.
Despite being a 17-year-old girl, Cheska still doesn't know everything about the world she's living.
Well, it's because her mother is quite strict about it. Hangga't maari ay pinapanatili niya ang pagiging inosente ng kaniyang mga anak.
But, unfortunately, you cannot dictate your children forever. Eventually, they will look and ask for something more.
Kaya wala na ring nagawa ang kaniyang ina sa pagaaral niya sa university na iyon. Mabuti na lang at kakampi niya ang nakakabatang kapatid at nanalo sila sa debate kung magpapatuloy ba siya sa pagaaral doon.
On her brother's side, mas maganda ang magiging future niya kung gagraduate siya sa Lee University—that's what everyone knows.
As long as you are graduated from that university, your future is more than sure and secured kaya wala rin talagang rason para ayawan ang paaralang iyon.
She's a new student and not well informed about the information she has to know. In other words, she's like a lost puppy going inside a lion's den.
