Selroz is walking in the long and dark hallway of Brittany's house. When he felt something strange, that's when he decided to leave her body for a while para lang tignan ito. Both of his hands are in his pockets as he stares at the end of the hallway with his furrowed brows.

He stared at the wall in front of him where there is no light but darkness.

"Who are you?" he asked, his distance from the darkness remains.

But there is no answer. He heard no answer from it. Mas lalong lumalim ang gusot sa kaniyang mukha.

"The only person with a grudge in this house is already taken by me. I don't like sharing so you're just wasting your time here."

After almost a minute of silence, the darkness chuckled.

"I don't tend to share the same plate as you as well..." the person muttered with its lowly eerie voice.

Selroz felt this cold wind embracing his body. But he ignored it. He asked again, "Who are you?"

Pero katulad lang din kanina, he heard no answer. Doon niya napagtanto na hindi magpapakilala sa kaniya kung sino man ang nasa harapan niya ngayon.

And so, he changed the question.

"What are you doing here? If you're not after Brittany, then why are you here?"

"I am here for you..."

"And why do you need me?" his brow arched. "I don't remember myself having a friend."

"Are you already satisfied with what you are now...? A soul without a body...A demon who only feeds from mortal's negative emotions...?"

"What are you talking about?" mas lumaki ang pagtataka ni Selroz. He doesn't understand why he's hearing those kinds of questions.

Of course, he is not. That is not even a question, to begin with.

"I am here for a deal...I'll give you what your heart desires in exchange for your loyalty to me..."

Muling tumaas ang kaniyang kilay. He crossed his arms and looked at the darkness with judgment.

"And I'm hearing this from a demon who doesn't even have a body. How funny," he said. "Well, that proves that you are just new. And that explains why you are still oblivious about our world's laws."

Hindi umimik ang kaniyang kausap kaya sinimulan niya ang kaniyang paliwanag.

"Demons are not as powerful as before. We are restrained by the laws. I want her body for me and only for me and that desire is not possible unless I break the law. I would rather have this than to experience decades to centuries of punishment."

The person in the darkness chuckled. "How pathetic...and you call yourself a demon...I guess demons are all about evilness...they have no intelligence at all..."

"Insult me whatever you want." he looked away and sighed, "You are the one who deserves the insult anyway...I just chose not to since you are still new..."

"You will have her body once she gave it up to you...is that how the rule of possession works, right...?"

Bumalik ang kaniyang tingin sa kaniya. "Yes. That's how it is."

"What if she will be left with no choice but to give it up to you...?"

"Hey newbie," he faced the darkness properly with his austere face. "I don't know which part you cannot understand. No one's allowed to harm the mortals. That's against the—"
