"I cannot believe they're going to move this quick! A wedding? Before this year ends? That's 2 weeks from now!"

Kasalukuyang nasa living room ngayon sila Lorenzo kasama ang kaniyang kaibigan. Doon nila naisipang magusap usap pagkatapos madinig ang masamang balita mula kay Lorenzo mismo.

"What I cannot also believe is Lorenzo accepted such a ridiculous deal. Akala ko ay handa lang siya gawin ang gusto ng Sakamotos but giving all of the properties and power that Young organization has?" Alex shook his head in disbelief. "Here we go again with the new episode of Lorenzo's stupidity. May season 2 kaya?"

"You are not helping," Xander glared at him. Alex only shrugged, walang pake.

"This is expected," finally Lorenzo broke his silence. "Now that they know that Cheska alive, Mr. Sakamoto has no reason to stay still. He is now desperate to take the organization from me habang hindi ko pa alam ang katotohanan."

"But you already know it."

"Yea...that's unfortunate for him."

"Hindi ko inaasahan na gagawa siya ng ganitong klaseng desisyon dahil lang nalaman niyang buhay si Cheska. He is seeing her as a threat?"

"He should be. He knows my connection with Cheska before and only a word from her paniniwalaan ko kaagad. But I think that is not the main reason why he sees her as a threat."

"There's something more?"

"Cheska once had a friendly duel with him. Everyone from the Lee family and few of his guards saw how he got bested."

"Natalo siya ng bata?" gulat nilang sambit.

"Even I was surprised. I knew Cheska is strong but I never expected her to win against him," he sighed. "If Cheska is indeed alive defeating Lee organization is far from impossible. If he cannot defeat them head-to-head, he needs to think of a different way."

"And that's where your organization comes in? Handa siya huh? Boy scout kaya si Mr. Sakamoto noon?"

"Yea, using my organization to make his more powerful is the only way to defeat the Lees. He will have my men and my influence to other mafias."

"Edi ano na ang gagawin mo? For sure you have something on your sleeves? There's no way you will let yourself be beaten by them."

"I still have nothing. Not yet. But the only way to stop this is to kill Alexandra," he left his seat and looked at his cousin. Kanina pa ito nananahimik. "Is that okay with you?"

Napatingin na rin ang magkapatid sa kaniya. Inantay nila ang pagsagot ni Ralph. Nang mapansin ang mga tinginan doon niya lang napagtanto na para sa kaniya ang tanong na iyon.

"What? Why me?"

Lorenzo's brows furrowed. "Do you think I don't know you have feelings for that girl? I once fell in love."

Hindi kaagad nakasagot doon si Ralph. His eyes went to Alex and Xander. Mukhang kahit sila ay alam dahil hindi naman sila mukhang nagulat.

The only reason why Ralph hid it is because Lorenzo hates Alexandra. He loathed Cj dahil lang sa katotohanang hinalikan niya ito pabalik. That is why he assumed Lorenzo might do the same to him.

But he knew all this time?

"I thought..."

"I only loathed Cj to earn a reason to push him away. I hated him not because of Alexandra. I only used that excuse to hide what I intend to do," pagpapaliwanag niya na parang nabasa niya ang nasa utak ni Ralph. "So, Alexandra's life might be put in danger because of his father's decision—"
