Kasalukuyang nakatingin ngayon si Joshua sa kalakihan ng mansyon na nasa kaniyang harapan. He doesn't know why he is in that place in the first place. Dinala na lang siya ng kaniyang sarili sa lugar na iyon.
Ni hindi siya sigurado kung nandoon ba talaga ang kaniyang hinahanap. Hindi niya alam kung doon niya matatagpuan ang matagal ng gustong makita.
He doesn't know if Cheska is in that place.
Joshua sighed and lowered his head. He must be out of his mind for entering their properties when he is one of their enemies. He must be asking for his death. If someone else found him, he might be killed in an instant.
Kaya bago pa may makakita sa kaniya, nagsimula na siyang maglakad papalayo. But to his surprise, he found someone who is just like him shouldn't be there at all.
"Brittany?"
Her head tilted to one side. Kahit siya ay hindi inaasahan na makikita si Joshua sa lugar na iyon. Amusement is all over her face. "Huh? What is a Park doing in this place? Are you already starting to move? How quick."
Kumunot ang kaniyang noo. Something is off. Nanatili ang kaniyang tingin sa kaniya, observing her carefully. Nang mapagtanto kung ano ang mali, his eyes widened a bit.
"You are not Brittany..."
Instead of frowning, she grinned devilishly. "As I expected to a mortal with a god living inside his body."
Displease is now written on his face. He took a step backward para protektahan ang sarili sa taong hindi niya kilala. He must not take this one lightly. He can feel it. The god inside him knows it.
"Who is she?" he quietly asked him. "Do you know him?"
The god inside him is a displeased as him. Nakangiwi lang ito habang masamang tinitignan ang babaeng nasa harapan niya.
"I don't know who she is but she is obviously being inhabited by a demon."
Joshua flinched. "A...demon?"
He knows about the existence of demons and what they can do in the mortal world pero hindi pa siya nakakakita ng isa. "A demon inside Brittany...? How could this be—does Cheska know this?!"
Brittany chuckled. "What do you think?"
There's no way Cheska knows. With that smug look on her face, she's proud that she has successfully manipulated Cheska.
