"Are you sure this is gonna work?" Isaac raised his eyebrows and stared at the giant house with the iron gate in front of him. "I mean, trusting you is one thing, but trusting an original vampire..." He couldn't finish his sentence.
"If (Y/N) says that he will help, he will help." Scott nodded towards you and he licked his lips. "He did save her fifty years ago. I don't think he wants her to die now."
Isaac rolled his eyes and he crossed his arms over his chest. "So, we're gonna ask the help of someone based on the fact that he might like my girlfriend enough to care if she'll live or die. Great."
Although it was far from funny, you couldn't help smiling a little. You had seen Isaac jealous before. Every time you talked to a guy he didn't know, he showed up next to you, just to make sure everyone knew that you were his and only his.
"There is a difference between liking someone and loving them." Scott tried to stay positive and he rang the bell. All the way to New Orleans he had been hopeful about the expedition, a lot more hopeful than his best friend had been.
Not that you blamed Isaac for being pessimistic about this entire mission. You had not seen or spoken to Klaus ever since he had turned you into a vampire and you had no idea if he would even be bothered by problems in Beacon Hills. You had no idea if he would still care about you and your friends.
"Well, well..." Klaus walked towards the gate with a smile on his face and he opened the door as quickly as he could. "Look who we have there!" He stared at you and then he raised his eyebrows when he noticed your company. "I see you've found yourself some company?" He gestured that you were allowed to come in and you followed him to the courtyard. "So, what brings my favorite vampire and two werewolves to New Orleans?" He sat down in one of the chairs and the three of you did the same.
"We need your help." You took a deep breath and tried to find words to explain everything that was going on in Beacon Hills. Even though you were sure that Klaus was used to weird things, this all sounded really ridiculous now you were saying it all out loud.
"Looks like New Orleans and Mystic Falls aren't the only exciting places in the world. I think my family and I should pay Beacon Hills a visit some day." Klaus didn't seem to impressed by the problem. "I do however hope that you do not count on me to care about teenagers disappearing and turning into chimaera's?"
You shook your head. "I don't." You swallowed. "I do hope you care about the goal though. The dread doctors are trying to create a beast, a monster, the worst of all werewolves." You watched how the hybrid in front of you started grinning.
"Love, whatever they're creating it won't be as bad as they hope it will be. They can't simply create someone like me." Klaus shook his head. "However, if it calms your mind, I'm sure I can send a few vampires of mine to take care of the issue. I wouldn't want you or..." He stared at Isaac and Scott. "...any of your friends to get hurt."
You let out a relieved sigh. "Thank you! Thank you so much!"
